Welcome GH_ICONTEST! This community is an icontest for the ABC Soap Opera General Hospital. If you love General Hospital and icons, join today and start participating in our weekly challenges.

Rules
~ You must be a member of the community in order to participate, so please join.
~ No animation allowed unless specified otherwise.
~ Please make new icons for each challenge. Please just don't search for an old icon that matches the theme.
~ Icons must fit LJ standards...40kb, 100x100.
~ You can submit up to four (4) icons, unless specified otherwise.
~ Due to the small number of people in this community, at the moment mods are allowed to enter contests.
~ When icons are posted for voting, they are still the sole property of the creators. During the voting period, no one is allowed to take any of icons for their own use. If there is a particular icon you like, wait until the winners are announced and then make a comment in that post about what icon you would like to have for yourself.

Submitting Your Icons
~ Contests will run Friday to Friday with Winners Posted the following Wednesday
~ Post you icons as a comment to the challenge post. Your post will be screened so no one will be able to see besides you and me. Please don't share with anyone else the icons you make for the current contest until the contest is over. Post your icons with the image of the icon and the image URL.

Voting
~ Votes are now being weighted. If you vote for an icon for first place, it gets 3 points, 2nd place gets 2 points and third place gets 1 point. Once the voting period is over, the points are tallied up for each icon and the winners are determined by the people who have the most points.
~ You will pick your top three favorite icons along with any special categories that will be specified at the time of the voting. Submit your votes as a comment to the voting post for that challenge. Once again comments will be screened so only you and me can see them. Please do not vote for yourself.
