Or more specifically, Belgium and Europe. Matt will be coming to Europe to join the Hollywood Knights once again.
The event will take place from September 19 – 28, 2008. Any specifics on locations and other details are still to be announced.

Matt will be joined by Eric Millegan (Bones), Geoff Stults (7th Heaven and recent co-star of Matt in the film 'I hope they serve beer in hell'), Paul Johansson(One Tree Hill), Brad Beyer (Jericho). More wil be announced soon.

In Step With ... Alexis Bledel

For seven years, she starred on the hit series Gilmore Girls. Now 26, the lovely but shy Alexis Bledel is focused on the big screen. She has a new movie coming out from Fox called The Post-Grad Survival Guide and an independent film called The Good Guy. But you can see her returning to theaters right now with those magical blue jeans in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, based on a popular young-adult book series about four friends.

On a recent day off, Alexis conceded, “Part 1 wasn’t necessarily big at the box office, but the DVD was huge. In Part 2, we [the four girls who share a friendship and those extraordinary pants] are all a little older, and we’re off to college and new challenges.”

Some actors blather on endlessly about themselves, but Alexis is reticent, skimping on the details. In fact, she first got into acting at a community theater in Texas because her parents thought it would make her less bashful.

For several years, she dated Gilmore cast member and now Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia. But she won’t discuss him, and when I asked, “Anyone new come along yet?” Alexis said, “I don’t want to go there, but I’m happy.”

She became a print model at 14 and was a world traveler before being accepted by NYU’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts—and then dropping out to take on Gilmore Girls.

Since her mom is Mexican and her dad Argentinian, I asked if Bledel was a stage name. “No, it’s my real name,” she said. “My father’s family is Danish and migrated to Argentina.”

How does she spend her free time? Does she work out? “I never was particularly athletic, but now that I have a personal trainer, finally I have muscles,” Alexis said. How did that happen? “It’s a combination of karate and boxing that really taught me a lot. And now I regularly play soccer. But I love cooking. That’s the best thing—cooking and having friends over for dinner.”

Brady's Bits
Since her former TV character, Rory Gilmore, studied at Yale, I wondered if Alexis spent much time in New Haven. “No,” she said. “The only way I ever would have gotten into Yale was fictionally. The show’s exterior shots were all stock footage of the campus. We never did any filming there. But I found it very flattering when Yale invited me to visit. And I got a lot of fan mail from alumni.” She spoke candidly about work and studying scripts for future movies. Alexis told me she hasn’t totally abandoned TV. “It’s not right for now,” she said. ”But maybe someday I’d go back and do another series. But only if it’s the right thing, the right role.”

'Friday Night' Guy, 'Gilmore' Girl Feeling 'Good'

"Friday Night Lights" co-star Scott Porter and "Gilmore Girls" star Alexis Bledel have joined the ensemble cast of Julio DePietro's "The Good Guy."

The romantic-comedy, already shooting in New York, will also star Bryan Greenberg, Andrew McCarthy, Aaron Yoo and Anna Chlumsky.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Porter will play a rising Wall Street hot shot with a beautiful new girlfriend (Bledel). When he starts mentoring a salesman (Greenberg), things start to go awry.

Porter was most recently seen in the summer box office disappointment "Speed Racer." The actor's Jason Street character will only be recurring on the upcoming third season of "Friday Night Lights."

Bledel co-stars in the upcoming sequel "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" and in the upcoming "The Post Grad Survival Guide."

So what is everyone doing, one year after Gilmore Girls has ended?

Lauren Graham
aka Lorelai Gilmore

After having done 'Birds in America' with Matthew Perry, which was released early this year, and set for DVD release on October 21st 2008, Lauren also filmed 'Flash of Genius', 'Dream of the Romans' and has one other projected lined up (according to IMDB). I have no idea what the new project is (so if you know, comment below!)

'Flash of Genius', starring Greg Kinnear is set for a October 17th, 2008 release.
'Dream of the Romans', starring Jeff Daniels and Olivia Thirlby. Lauren plays a struggling single mom. Filming was just finished in June 2008. Release date unknown.

Alexis Bledel
aka Rory Gilmore.

Alexis filmed 'Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2' last summer, which is set to be released this summer on August 6th. She reunited with former co-stars of the first film Blake Lively, Amber Tamblyn and America Ferrera.

After that Alexis has filmed the comedy 'The Post-Grad Survival Guide' starring Zach Gilford, Michael Keaton and Carol Burnett, currently in post-production, with an unknown release date so far.
Alexis' next project will be called 'The Letters', a drama/thriller film, which is currently still in pre-production.

Edward Herrmann
aka Richard Gilmore.

Edwars has done several things, including guest performances on Grey's Anatomy and 30 rock.
He was a narrator on the film 'Andrew Jackson' and is set to star in 'The Skeptic' which is set to be released sometime in 2008. This film stars Tom Arnold, Tim Daly and Andrea Roth.
Edward is currently filming (or already finished) 'Son of Mourning' starring Heather Graham, Jesse Bradford, Stephen Root. Release date unknown.

Kelly Bishop
aka Emily Gilmore.

I believe Kelly has been doing theatre work this year. I only know that she was cast in the theatrical revival of "Steel Magnolias" earlier this year.

Keiko Agena
as Lane.

She has guested on Private Practice (ABC) this year (and that's not listed on IMDB) and she filmed 'Major Movie Star' last summer with Jessica Simpson. When that's set for release, is still unknown. She also lend her voice again for the cartoon 'Kim Possible' in 2007.

Scott Patterson
as Luke Danes.

After having finished Gilmore Girls, Scott immediately filmed 'Saw IV' and the tv comedy 'Aliens in America'. In the meantime, Aliens in America got cancelled by the CW.
He's recently worked on 'Saw V' aka (Saw 5) and reprising his role as agent Strahm, the film is currently on post-production with a release date set for October 24th (once again on time for Halloween).

Scott has another in-development projected listed on IMDB, but is currenlty not viewable for all. Any info on that, please comment below! :)

After Gilmore Girls, Matt did a play called 'Third' starring Christine Lahti and Sarah Drew, in LA. After that he gained a small role on 'Friday Night Lights' for a few episodes as Chris Kennedy.
And this week he starts rehearsels on his new project a film called 'I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell', which is set for a spring release in 2009.

Milo is currently in production for Heroes again, filming its third season.
His film 'Pathology' was released a few weeks ago, which also starred Alyssa Milano.
In the upcoming year we can also expect to see Milo in 'The Chaos Theory' 'Game' and 'Armored'
The Chaos Theory is a thriller that also stars Rhys Coiro, Mimi Rogers. No release date known.

'Game' is another thriller, that also stars Gerard Butler, Michael C. Hall, Kyra Sedgwick. Set to be released on November 30th 2008.

'Armored' is a drama/thriller, that stars Laurence Fishburn, Matt Dillon and Skeet Ulrich. This film is set to be released September 18th, 2009. They're still filming this project.

Milo is also a producer for a film called 'Blades of Glory'. Set to be released on December 1st, 2009. No more info known about this project.
During the 2007 Writers Srtike, Ventimiglia, Russ Cundiff and Divide Pictures partnered with Devil's Due Publishing to produce the comic series REST witch will be a monthly limited series, starting in August with the .99 cent special issue. The comic is about John Barret, a white-collar New Yoker whose life changes when he becomes addicted to a drug that prevents him from falling asleep.

as Sookie St. James

Over the year, Melissa has filmed and starred in the succesfull ABC Comedy 'Samantha Who?' starring Christina Applegate and Jean Smart. She can be seen in the show's second season which starts this fall on ABC on mondays.

Melissa can also been seen on stage for The Groundlings, an improv show currently at the Met Theatre in Hollywood.
Another project for Melissa, which is completed recently, a film called 'Pretty Ugly People' starring Allison Janney, William Sanderson, Missy Pyle. Its set to be released sometime in 2008.

Jared Padalecki
as Dean Forrester

Jared of course will appear in the 4th season of Supernatural, on the CW.
Apart from that, this winter (no specific date known yet), he will appear in Thomas Kinkade's Home for Christmas. It stars Marcia Gay Harden, Peter O'Toole, Aaron Ashmore.
He recently finished filming on a the remake of 'Friday the 13th', which also stars Danielle Panabaker, Aaron Yoo, Amanda Righetti. Set to be released on February 13th, 2009.

As far as I know, Yanic has not done any tv/movie work since Gilmore Girls.

Has directed the film 'For Christ's Sake', set to be released sometime in 2008. The film stars Alex Borstein, Sara rue, Michael Hitchcock.

He's done multiple things after working on Gilmore Girls this year.
He starred on Private Practice, playing Kate Walsh's love interest, and is set to return to reprise his role this fall!

He also starred in the movies 'Sticks and Stones' and 'Inconceivable'
His upcoming projects include 'Misconceptions' starring A.J. cook, David Moscow, Sarah Carter. Set for 2008 release.
'Shanti' is set for a August 15th, 2009 release. Other co-stars unknown at this point. Film is still in pre-production.

Ausiello: I know I can be a little biased when it comes to all things LG, but I swear, the woman looked absolutely radiant. As much as I hate to say it, I think this extended tube hiatus has done wonders for her positive energy output. She was also chattier than usual, but, unfortunately, she made me promise not to “race home and put it in my blog.” (The takeaway: LG knows I have a blog!) This much I feel comfortable sharing with you: Lauren was very aware of my (ultimately futile) campaign to get her cast in NBC’s Office spin-off. And I’ll just leave it at that.

Question: Congratulations and lots of luck at EW! Now, about your run-in with Lauren Graham: Did she say anything about a possible return to TV? — Gabriella
Ausiello: She didn’t. And even if she did, it was off the record. However, I have since come to learn that her peeps expressed interest in Will & Grace vet Jhoni Marchinko’s HBO pilot Driving Around with Joni, about a 40-year-old widow who cruises around L.A. with her French bulldog searching for meaning in her life. I don’t think it’s going to happen, though. And it’s probably for the best. As Paul Anka can attest, Lauren doesn’t have a lot of patience for four-legged co-stars.

Matt to star in 'I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell'

Gilmore Girls fans rejoice! Rory's newspaper-scion boyfriend Logan Huntzberger (Matt Czuchry) will take on his first leading role, in the film adaptation of I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell, Tucker Max's best-selling memoir-cum-cad's guide to life. With Richard Kelly's Darko Films producing, Beer in Hell centers on Max's impromptu trip to celebrate his friend's bachelor party. Czuchry will play Max, while Jesse Bradford (Flags of our Fathers) and Geoff Stults (7th Heaven) are on board as his best friends. Production begins at the end of the month in Louisiana. Bob Gosse is directing the screenplay from Max and cowriter Nils Parker.

EW lists Gilmore Girls as one of the cast members who just click!

Voters of ew.com voted Lorelai and Rory Gilmore (Lauren and Alexis) as one of the many people who just click together on tv!

The Gilmore girls of course! Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham [as Rory and Lorelai on The Gilmore Girls] not only pulled of the daughter/mother dynamic but were also able to spit out all that rapid fire pop culture laden dialog and make it totally believable. Who didn't want to be them or at least be their friend?

Alexis Bledel Wonders If She’ll Ever Visit ‘Sin City’ Again

Normally, we go to the big stars to get movie info that we can then deliver to you. But when we recently brought up the topic of “Sin City 2″ to Alexis Bledel, she turned the table and started asking us the questions.

“Are they still planning to do that?” she asked incredulously. “You’re the first one telling me about it.”

Last month, an article in “The Hollywood Reporter” reinforced that the highly-anticipated sequel is still scheduled to hit theaters sometime in 2009. With all the CGI involved, one would think they’d have to begin shooting soon — but such principal talents as Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez are otherwise occupied, and actors like Bledel report that their phones haven’t rung.

“I haven’t heard anything, but I’ll have to ask some questions now,” she insisted.

And while Bledel acknowledged that the hard-boiled film series could carry on without her sweet-natured Old Town prostitute Becky, she hopes it won’t. “It’s questionable, because in the last scene [you saw me], technically I’m supposed to die. There’s an assassin in the elevator with me and you assume I’m dead,” she shrugged. “But they’ve said that maybe I’m not dead. So, I don’t know what happens in that elevator … Maybe I killed the assassin. That’d be awesome!”

Even if she did die, “Sin City 2″ is expected to be a prequel, which would allow such other dead characters as Marv (Mickey Rourke), Goldie (Jaime King) and Manute (Michael Clarke Duncan) to return. And with Miller re-writing “A Dame to Kill For” to include a new story for Jessica Alba’s Nancy Callahan, it seems like anything goes.

If and when we ever get “Sin City 2″ remains to be seen, but this much is clear: Alexis Bledel will pass the time with August’s release of the decidedly-different “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2,” and she’ll soon be picking up a copy of “Dame” just to see if Becky’s even in the damn thing.

“I haven’t seen the book they’re basing this one on, so I don’t know,” she grinned. “I’m going to find out!”

America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel Jump Off A Cliff For Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants 2

If you're a typical teenage girl, you're eager to hang out with the Sisterhood again. If you're the typical boyfriend of a typical teenage girl, forced to watch every installment of the chick-flick series, you probably want the Sisters to take a long jump off a steep cliff.

On August 8, you'll both get your wish.

"I don't want to give anything away, but there's a scene that the four of us girls created on our own," Ugly Betty star America Ferrera told us recently at the ShoWest convention for movie-theater owners, giving us some advance details on this summer's Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. "We all went to Greece together to film a portion of the film, and we were walking by a cliff, and we saw all these people jumping off that cliff and were like, 'What are they doing?' "

"I was just mulling about, and then [the actresses] all came up to me and said, 'OK, this is what we want to do: We want to jump off cliffs, because we saw these people do it yesterday," laughed music-video director Sanaa Hamri (Prince's "Musicology"), who, besides helming the flick, often found herself turning into the group mother. "In my head I'm going, 'Oh my God, I don't want to lose any of them! They have to be safe!' "

"It was so much fun," grinned Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel, remembering the plunge she shared with Ferrera, Gossip Girl star Blake Lively and Joan of Arcadia actress Amber Tamblyn on the gorgeous island of Santorini. "It's really high, actually, and it was a little bit scary. But we thought it would be a nice way to end the movie."

In August, the dive of the mini-divas will mark the final scene in the highly anticipated second adventure adapted from the popular young-adult novels. The events preceding it, however, will show Carmen, Tibby, Lena and Bridget leaping into adulthood.

"My heart was so into this movie," Ferrera remembered of the shoot, which came on the heels of her high-profile rise to Ugly superstardom. "The first experience was so ideal for me, and I so love the material, and I love these girls. ... This was a story about teen girls that went further than 'Who's taking me to prom?' "

"This basically picks up where the last one left off - it's the second, third and fourth books by Ann Brashares, all crammed into one movie," explained Bledel. "We're older. We're in college in this film, so the themes are a little more mature. ... There's more dating, [and it's about] trying to start your own life when you go off to college. They're each trying to grow individually, while trying to stay connected to their past and to each other."

"The first film was such a beloved movie - I definitely didn't want the second Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants to be disconnected from it," said Hamri, conceding that the real-life girls' lives have changed dramatically since the first movie came out in 2005. "I just made sure that [the sequel] felt like it progressed, because the actresses have progressed."

Asked if the Emmy-winning Ferrera's head had swelled since the first film, or whether Lively's Gossip Girl success had changed her, Bledel pointed out that each girl has now had her own hit show - a fact that brought them even closer. "The only thing that's different is we can all really relate to what it's like to be the lead of a show, because we've all done it now," she grinned. "It really is nice to be able to talk to other girls our same age who have been through that, because it's a unique experience."

"The four of us formed a really tight bond, and in the three years between the first and second movie, we've all been a part of each other's lives," agreed Ferrera. "We've seen each other go through all these changes in our lives. ... Amber and I have been traveling together campaigning for Hillary Clinton, and I go to see Amber do her poetry, and Alexis and I do dinners. And Blake's in New York, so she's the only one who's kind of separate from us, but she's living her fabulous New York lifestyle while the rest of us are in L.A."

Lively, 20, is also the actress closest to their characters' actual age, which helps to keep the others in the right frame of mind.

"[The characters] are 19 now, and it's the summer before sophomore year in college, so you can imagine what each girl will be going through," explained Hamri. "We really stay true and authentic to that age. It's not sugared-up, or dolled-up for an audience. ... It's the coming-of-age of young, modern women."

And if young, modern women coming of age can be summed up in one simple image, there are worse metaphors than them leaping into the uncertain waters below.

"We ran to the producers and were like, 'You've gotta put this in the movie!' And they did," laughed America Ferrera, proud of the girls' improvised symbolism. "I was scared out of my mind. But we were the idiots who told them to put it in the movie!"

Jared and longtime girlfriend Sandra McCoy are officially engaged.

The Supernatural hunk confirmed the news at the Supernatural L.A. Convention. Earlier this year, it was also reported that the CW series will be returning for a fourth season.

Jared, 25, and Sandy, 28, met on the set of the 2005 horror movie Cry Wolf.

Jared also appeared in movie such as New York Minute (2004), Supernatural (2005), ROOM 401 (2007), and Thomas Kinkade's Home for Christmas (2007).
