Community Profile

GYWO is a place for people who want to write more often, and more consistently, but can hung up in the murky waters of "Oh, this idea's too epic, I won't have time to finish" or "That's a good idea, but it's only April, I should save it for November" or simply "It's sort of an idea, but there's not much there, I'll just let it simmer until something good comes out of it."

GYWO challenges its members to write those half-considered ideas now, rather than waiting for anything else, because let's face it, most of the time "anything else" never shows up. By setting a word count goal for the entire year, participants are able to see the value of every word written.
