This community was designed to provide all those who wish to chronicle their fitness endeavors a place to do so without taking up space in their own journals, as well as provide them with a place to meet others who share the same goals. Whether you're looking to gain weight and bulk up or lose weight and tone, this is the place for you.
This is an open community, which means that anybody can join. Of course, there are a few rules to bear in mind when posting:

- You must be a member in order to post. Joining getting_fit only takes a few seconds, so why not join now?
- Insensitive posts will absolutely, positively NOT be tolerated. Disrespect any of the community members and you'll find yourself banned from this community so fast, it'll make your head spin.
- No off-topic posting allowed. You (ostensibly) have your primary journals in which to post about your crappy day at work or the lovely evening you just had with your significant other. Don't do it here. All off-topic posts will be deleted.
