Welcome to the home for all things dealing with Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum as a couple! This can include videos, photos, links, gossip, rpf, and writings.

The Disclaimer:
Here at gerard_emmy, we try to promote a fertile environment for people to expand their creative skills in writing and other forms of art, both with a computer and with a sketch pad. We see this site not only as a shrine of sorts to two of our favorite actors, but also as a place for people to come, write, read and contribute. Fan fiction and fan art is meant to be fun and create a way for otherwise unpublished authors and unshowcased artists, or amateurs in either arena, to express themselves in an easygoing community. It just happens it is Gerard and Emmy's lovely chemistry that has inspired us so much that we find ourselves here. Please understand that we here at gerard_emmy respect Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum, their personal lives, and their families to the highest degree. We would never wish to harm them through this venue.

The rules here are pretty simple.

1} No flaming. If you disagree, do it in a polite, adult fashion. Do not start a flame war. Anyone who provokes a flame war and anyone who responds will be banned from the community. It will also be punishable by death via losille2000.
2} Spamming is allowed in restricted content. Only communities or journals pertaining to Phantom of the Opera, Gerard/Emmy, or the actors will be allowed. If you absolutely feel the need to promote your community about lost dogs, do it on a general forum.
3} Graphics, stories, and art MUST be behind an LJ-cut. You may have an icon or two to let members "preview" the selection, but no more than two please.
4} Pertaining to stories, please write your fiction in Microsoft Word, Rough Draft, or a similar program. Many of these programs are designed with spell check and will clear up 90% of mistakes made, grammatically and phonetically. Also, please read your post before you hit 'update', as sometimes spell check doesn't catch certain errors.
5} gerard_emmy has recently undergone a change in the way we handle memberships. All new memberships will be moderated. If you are under 17, you will not be approved. You may watch the community, but you will not be allowed to join. We cannot take any responsibility for members who disregard this rule.

Because of Cease and Desist orders from the MPAA due to fandoms using their film ratings, we have instituted a new rating system. It is as follows:
