Thank you Cate, Grace, Renee -- I have your cards on my table (love them!) and everyone who maybe sent me a card though I havent had a chance to check my PO box yet and can't thank you personaly (sorry!).

I read some critics about this film... and all of them, even those who didn't really like it, were all agree about Geoffrey's performance !!! "hilarious and irresistible !"

That's pretty cool, eh? Bradford's not *that* far from me, to be fair... but I can't act to save my life, and I have to go to work tomoz so going to the casting call, even if I wanted to, is impossible.
Any other English Rushies planning on going...? How cool would it be to be a Georgian for a day? :D A blink-and-you-miss-it part in a Geoffy movie.

Helena Bonham Carter will play the future Queen Mother in “The King’s Speech.”
LOS ANGELES, Nov 16 — Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush star in the period drama, which recently began shooting in England.
A young king -- father of Queen Elizabeth II -- reluctantly assumes the throne after his brother, Edward, abdicates.
Considered unfit to rule and cursed with a nervous stammer, the unprepared monarch turns to an unorthodox speech therapist, Lionel Logue. The two men form an unlikely friendship as King George finds his voice and leads the country into war against the Germans.
The film is based on the relationship between King George VI (Firth) and speech therapist Lionel Logue (Rush), who helped the accidental monarch lose his stammer and lead Britain through World War II. Bonham Carter will play the king’s consort, Queen Elizabeth, who became the Queen Mother upon her husband’s early death in 1952. Also in the cast are Jennifer Ehle, Guy Pearce, Derek Jacobi, Timothy Spall and Michael Gambon. Tom Hooper will direct from a script by David Seidler. I edited some extracts of this beautiful (and, too bad, rather unknown) film "Lantana" on the song "Hurt" by Johnny Cash".

As the format of the original video was really "weird" (completly "distorded", in a wrong format, if you knwo what I mean) I had to resize it.
So, that's why you watch it in an unusual format... Especially for iPod users. Sorry for the convenience.
