OK, so I applied for the beta MMORPG of Champions. The RPG I grew up coming to on-line status soon. Which is very cool. I'm getting all the geriatric rpg buddies I knew back then (1987) that played champions with me to see if we can get our old group back together and see how it flies for fun? I wanted to take madarame and make him cooler than he already is to me. SO I'm posting up the file that was taken by a double agent working for viper and the CID of Japan.

Brief History Profile


Madarame Harunobu age 9 on a business trip with his father in the U.S. in Detroit Michigan circa 1992.
Doctor Destroyer obliterated Detroit and the experimental geothermal power plant the UN was
testing in preparation of other sources of power the city’s future was not only in question?
The UN wanted to smooth it over after the president had declared it a level 12 disaster area and mass
graveyard for those that did perish in the flames that were caused by Dr. Destroyer and his
minions. The death toll was 60,000 and those were the ones that were recoverable and DNA
confirmed.

Madarame had been spared with a few others in the underground facility he and his father
were visiting. Madarame's father was there to examine and repair the cooling system
that had started to fail. The corporation that had hired to help construct the
facility had not taken in consideration of the leylines that ran thru the facility
underground deep within the crust of the earth.

While his father had gone with an emergency team when the meltdown was started by Dr.
Destroyer and the human computer villain "Binary". Who he used to hack into the cooling
controls and used the faulty coding to start the meltdown at the same time a leyline
eruption was to occur. Unaware of that fact, Dr. Destroyer had set off a chain reaction that
irradiated the area and blew up most of Detroit and the surrounding suburban areas. The only
thing left intact was the underground facility itself.

List of survivors were the following.
Robert Jonies, Gary Hoow, Jon Smyth, Madarame Harunobu, Desiree, Stark. All of which were
taken to a specialized medical institute, where the medical team discovered that the
survivors of this disaster had killed them as humans but gave birth to a new set of superior
humans with enhanced health and new set of mental abilities and newly discovered strength.


Seventeen years later it is revealed that Madarame Harunobu had survived the accident and a
cover story saying he had suffered extreme memory loss due to the accident and had been
taken care of by a family in upper Michigan near Keweenaw. It wasn't till recently that one
of his father's colleagues recognized him from a family photo that he knew who it was.

In reality, Madarame and small team of other people like himself and the other survivors
have trained into an elite superhero team and have been thwarting crime and acts of
terrorism off and on for the last sixteen years. Steady training and teaching have lead him
to being and becoming a solo hero.

After going solo on his first mission, it was to be
against of all people Dr. Destroyer. Who was attempting to open a dimensional rift to a
chaotic dimension allowing some demonic force into our world using a leyline as the portal
door. It wasn't till The B.O.P.A.O (Bureau of paranormal activity and occurrences) detected
magical energies from the old Nevada basin testing grounds that were used back in the
1950/1960 for the atomic energy testing facility that they sent Madarame and a backup team to
investigate and after a extreme battle and losing 4 out of the 6 agents including Madarame
was Dr. Destroyer defeated and the leyline closed.

So far there are no bodies to collect, nothing to bury, just memories of those fallen
hero's. Madarame Harunobu, son of Kenchi and Ryoko Harunobu is MIA and presumed dead after
holding back and defeating a demonic force attempting to enter our plane of existence by evil forces of known origins.

I can see why Madarame would react like this to Saki-chan. Because even in the argument he causes with Saki? He's still having the chance to interact and discuss something with her regardless of the mood blatantly displayed during the discussion/debate. Which also shows the interest and affection he has for her, even if she doesn't really seem to notice it herself being the slightly dense one in the group from time to time. Does anyone else see this as well as I do? Or am I the only who sees it like this?

In light of a post made on the Gurren Lagann community last night, </a></b></a>[info]modernreaper and I were thinking that people who want to have serious chats and discussions about older fandoms should have a place to go.

I added 5 chapters to my For the Love of Saki story. The links to each chapter can be found in my journal, sorry for the wait some of you had to endure. This story should be complete within the next month. I hope you enjoy it.

I also have a one-shot involving Angela and Suzi's visit from the second series of Genshiken episodes. I, of course, really like the episode involving Angela and Madarame's encounters. =)

Just to see if anyone else noticed, in the scene where Ohno is explaining to Angela how seriously men will take her (14:33), right after Suzi says "Welcome Home, My Master" aloud, notice the response from the guy in the lower left-hand corner of the screen. He's like... "Yeeaaaah!!!!!" =p Awesome extra. One of my favorite parts, oddly enough.

Hi, I'm new to the community (and all this LJ stuff lol) and I love Genshiken- it's one of my favorite series ^__^

I was just doing some Genshiken browsing (as a fan does) and found a these two pages-

Does anybody know what chapter this happened in? I read the whole manga in onemanga and have never seen that scene before (maybe i skipped something?)

Also from the same site i read (quote):

"One of the Genshiken manga volumes actually contains a Love Chart for the dodecahedron in Kujibiki Unbalance, which was designed specifically to contain every permutation of the trope that it could... along with everything else. Just for fun, the volume following that one had the diagram for Genshiken (which isn't a Love Dodecahedron series). "
