Help with Internet Explorer.
I need help getting the address/etc. bars in Internet Explorer reorganized, and getting the "autohide" for the task bar turned off. One of our cats ran across her keyboard and she's not sure what keys were hit but it messed up how Internet Explorer looks. It also makes the task bar hide itself whenever you click on the IE window. There aren't any problems with FireFox, just IE. She uses Windows 2000, and I think has the most recent version of IE that is compatible with that version of windows.

I'm not sure what to do to get it back and I don't want to have to keep messing with it so I'm hoping someone can help out. I'm afraid I don't know enough about computers to give any more information than I have given so far.

Right-click on the toolbars that are still showing in Internet Explorer and there will be a pop up menu to pick and choose what toolbars you want to be there. If they are just in the wrong order or something you should be able to grab them by their "handle" (little bump on the left hand side) and drag and drop them. There is also a "lock" item on the right click menu in some versions of IE, so you may have to un-tick that before moving things around.

As for the task bar, when it is visible, right click and select properties. There is an option in the box that comes up for auto hide.
