Mission

To inspire each other and self by posting something new and theme driven each week. To challenge each other and self to improve and strive for our dreams, together. To have fun and enjoy art as a group, and gain input from our peers.

Current Members



Maintainer

The Maintainer of the community has the responsibility of monitoring posts and picking themes for the upcoming months. She/He will also decide whether to remove or add new members to the community. While he/she should seek opinions of the other members on this matter, the decision will ultimately be his/hers. She/He also manages the site and keeps everything up to date.

If for some reason the maintainer cannot perform to his/her duties, a 2/3s vote for another maintainer make take place among the members for another. A maintainer may be either an artist in the community or an outsider.

Descriptions of Days

• Sunday – Post themes for the upcoming week; post collaborations between artists and post pictures/links to other projects and pieces done that week. (Everyone can post on this day) Suggestions for themes are also posted on this day.
• Monday – Zeldyn/Jesse’s day to post
• Tuesday – Xevv/Celine’s day to post
• Wednesday – Akoe/Alexa’s day to post
• Thursday – Pussinboots/Sän’s day to post
• Friday – Merwyn/Robyn’s day to post.
• Saturday – Oolong/Mitch’s day to post.

Themes

Themes for the upcoming month will be posted on the first Sunday of every month by the maintainer. To abide by a theme, an artist must post either a)an art piece, b)a piece of writing no less than 500 words, or c)both in correspondence with the theme. Themes can be anything, and people both in and outside of the community can suggest themes for the upcoming months. The themes will ultimately by chosen by the maintainer, but other ideas and views will be taken into consideration.

Conflicts

Conflicts between members and outsiders will be handled by the maintainer. Problems should be voiced in e-mail and NOT in the community, and sent to the maintainer’s e-mail address. Any outside commenter that becomes a problem will be banned from the community. And artist that continues to have problems with the other artists will be warned, then have his/her membership in the community revoked.

Members

Members of the community should be 18 year of age or older, but other than that there is little restriction. They are to be interested in both visual arts and creative writing, so as to keep up with the community’s themes.

Member Departure

If/When a member of the community decides to move on, notification beforehand to the maintainer is appreciated. That way, a replacement can be found. In the event of an open day for the community, a post will be made concerning it. Artists can then vie for the spot; the artist that joins will be either chosen by the maintainer or voted in by the members.

Posting

A member should post on their assigned day their theme piece for the week. If for some reason they will not be around on their day, it is appreciated to let the community know. If the community knows beforehand that a day will be free for a day, artists are allowed to post outside work on the open day. Work outside of the theme should be posted on Sunday, as well as collaborations between artists in the community.

Content

There are no limitations as to what content can be posted to the community. As members are to be 18+, pornographic material is of no problem. It is considered a courtesy, however, to label pornographic or otherwise edgy pieces with NSFW (not safe for work) when posting. The same is to be done for writing pieces along the same lines.
