Sorry this is so late, but I'm finally satisfied enough with my translation of Uruha's New Year's entry to post it. You'll also find a translation of Reita's latest personal corner entry and a couple recent diary entries from Ruki and Kai.
A lot of thought and effort was put into these, so I hope you enjoy them. Today I began a new translation project so look forward to reading that in the near future.

I had some free time at work so I've translated most of the member's entries from this year. There are only a couple entries that I need to get clarification on, but they should be posted soon.
Other random news:
-Gazette will be on the cover of Zy Vol. 27, which is to be released March 1. They are also on the cover of this month's SHOXX (already released).
-It's been decided that Kai will have a regular radio program on live.net radio (http://livemedia.co.jp/radio/), which will air every first and third Monday from 8:00-8:30pm (Japan time).
-Reita has updated his personal corner. I hope to get to translating this soon, so please wait.
-The first fanclub newsletter of 2006 is expected to be sent out around Feb.11.
-NIL goes on sale in only two weeks so I hope everyone has preordered their copy! If not, you had better hurry!!

Thank you truly for last year. There were some considerably rough things but there was always fans, members, and staff for support. This year I'm looking to put things in order. ** yaroudomo …. He is using a play on words. In the previous sentence he says "ganbatte yarou" (must do the best), but this yarou means rascal. I guess the best translation for this would be "rascal child" but I wanted to point out why he called himself that.

Recently I received a small shock that my eyesight has fallen to 0.2 in both eyes! I forget if it's the right or left, but what's more is that there is something like a 0.1 astigmatism in one of them as well...! Shock!!
For the first time I bought glasses and when I'm driving I am a glasses-kimi! (laugh) … Well it's good because I look a little smart in them (laugh)
For your information, at lives I wear contacts until backstage so I can see sharply, clearly, and properly! ☆♪

Long time!
Today I escaped work a little bit and went to the “musical instrument fair”.*
It was amazing. That space. It certainly was like a dream country!
Oh yes! I spoke with the company president YAIRI for the first time.
I was charmed by his “ artists and craftsmen must exist more closely“ talk.
Indeed the Japanese workmanship was great.
Next time I want to take a trip to the Gifu** factory and listen casually to various stories.
Because I left behind a signed paper and signed guitar at the YAIRI booth, people that are going to be there should check it out!
Then in the middle of a display a new accomplice…
And then of course I busted in on the ESP booth.
It was interesting because I go to play often but there were a lot of guitars that I haven’t ever seen before.
I think there is no harm in looking once?
Well~I went around and looked at other things too but the instruments these days are nothing less than amazing. It was a day in which the things I want have increased yet again.
Yeah~It was truly a great day!

After a long break, I am finally settled in my new location with an active internet connection. I was lucky enough to attend Gazette's tour final this past Saturday, I will be writing a more detailed report when time permits.
They announced their new single [Cassis] to be released Dec. 07 at the show, along with their next tour [Nameless Liberty.Six Guns...]. I'm sure you've all seen this news by now on their official site.
Their photo book [Verwelktes Gedicht] went on sale at the show and I was lucky enough to pick one up. The location of the shoot was Austria, and the photo book is truly amazing. If you get a chance to pick one up definitely do so (comes with a CD as well). As of right now, I've heard the only place available to order them outside Japan is j-xyz.com (which oddly enough is down at the moment, probably temporarily(?)). If you know of anywhere else to order them please let everyone know.
They also played the PV for Cassis. The song itself if slow and rather poppy, but very beautiful. The PV looks like it was shot in Austria as well and Ruki is "playing" guitar in it.
Diary translations will resume in the very new future. I apologize for the extended absence.
P.S. I don't have a scanner here, so please don't bombard me with requests for scans from the photobook. I shall leave you with a couple of pictures taken from my digital camera... but I apologize for the quality...

Whatever I say here may not change anything, it may only end up creating anxiety. I'm truly sorry.
The number of people doing the act called "tsubushi"* is few, and the people that are harmed are probably also few, therefore I was unable to turn a blind eye…
Nevertheless, what I can do…I don't know…everyone loves Gazette, of course I as well love Gazette, the members, the fans, and all the people that support Gazette, I think if the people that share the same love are able to get along…but that is surely my own selfishness…
It would be good if I could tell the fans not to be scared of "tsubushi" wouldn't it?
I want all of Gazette's fan to not think so. Actually I hear in letters and such many times over about a person's physical condition becoming bad and receiving help from someone next to them they don't know!
For things like that I am extremely happy!
Doing a live when only we are enjoying it. I am thinking that is not a Gazette live!
When the fans and everyone are having fun, it's a feeling that can only be experienced at that place at that time…I think that is a Gazette live
I ended up saying words that are somewhat random and redundant, but this is my not-lying honest feeling.

Hey. It's been a while! Lately it's been both cloudy and clear, it's feeling bad kind of weather, but how is your condition? That reminds me, the final has been decided hasn't it? It's at International Forum A, I still have recollections of handing out posters in the old days (laugh) The request – in full makeup and full costume – nobody would take them. It was sad but because there were harsh memories and such at that time, it is the reason now is possible. It's incredible if there are people that accepted our handouts at that time that still come to see us even now. That is the reason we are standing at that sort of international forum this time. Just speaking about nothing more than that is valuable. I want it to be an enjoyable live. Together with the tour. We will only do them using all of our energy.
