AboutHey...I was looking through LiveJournal and realized that a lot of people had cool sports on their interest lists AND they were definitely very queer too. I know it's pretty difficult for me to find other queer people in most of the mountain biking/snowboarding/wilderness sports scenes that I'm in, because most of these sports worlds are dominated by heterosexuals.
SO....
if you are into:
mountain biking
bmx
skateboarding
snowboarding
skiing
rock climbing
ice climbing
rappelling
windsurfing
blading
backpacking
water skiing
wakeboarding
white water kayaking/rafting
parkour
Or any other extreme/outdoor sport that I haven't listed yet but will when you tell me...

Post about an awesome ride you had, or a great trip to some snowboarding mecca, or a great city that has lots of queer people and good sports stuff too, or ask if anyone is in your area so you can meet other bisexual skaters in your area, etc.
Basically, I just want to get people to find other GLBTQ folk in the crazy sports that they do.
one more note:
I realize that the title "gayxtremesports" is not very inclusive and is not the word I would have wanted to use, but queerextremesports was too long. So please do not think that this community is only for people who label themselves gay.
