Contrary to popular belief, Gayly Forward hasn't died. I actually was supposed to start the next chapter, but haven't been able to as I am accident prone and smashed my right hand (the hand I draw with) in a doorway. As soon as it heals enough for me to draw again I'm going to get on it. Meanwhile Nathan will probably do a short storyline. |

There MAY be an update Satuday. Who knows. It all depends on what I decide to do tommorow. I could either A) draw the comic B) spend the day getting a head start on studying for finals and end of term papers or C) spend the day shaking off a hang-over from a night of drunken revelry. OKay so I was a bit premature in trying to start Chapter three, I forgot to take into account midterm exams and papers, which will have me swamped through the middle of october. Updates should begin no later the 15th of October. |

a bit of bad luck
I've run into a bit of bad luck lately. This past weekend I was out with some friends. One of them drove me home and missed the parking lot where my dorm is so I had her pull into another parking lot that belongs to the college. Since it was back on my campus I was safe to walk back and told the driver I would just walk from there. She wanted to take me back to my parking lot and must not have heard me say that I'd walk from there. I opened the door and started to get out when she started reversing the car. Since I was half way in and half way out of the car I got dragged along the pavement for a short ways. Thankfully she heard me screaming, stopped the car and helped me back in. The friends from that car helped me back to my room, but I told them to go as one of our friends was very drunk. When they left I called my ex to come take a look at my wounds to see if they needed some attention. She came immediately and promptly told me my muscle was exposed and took me to the ER. Luckily nothing is broken, but I am on crutches and it is a bit of a pain getting around campus. For that reason I won't be updating the comic until I can walk again. What does walking have to do with my drawing skills? Since I am on crutches it takes me double the amount of time to do anything and it is painful to move about. My time right now is mostly taken up with getting around and getting all my school work done on time. Also, the scanner is in another building from the one in which I live and I've been trying to limit the number of times I have to go in and out of buildings. Sorry guys, but I'll be out of commission for a while. Current Mood:  sore |

He's supposed to be about 20 years old. I made my little brother stand in front of me while I tried to schetch his muscles. He's always been a good sport when I've tried to draw the male anatomoy more correctly. I <3 my little brother. |

I've sent him the next two comics so he'll post those at the appropriate times. Right now I am at home, but moved my computer to the new place yesterday. Unfortunately the internet is not working there so my updates will be a little eratic until I can get it fixed. Also I won't be able to do full color updates all the time anymore due to my school work (taking 20 hours again! *cries*) In the meantime here's something for you to look at until I am able to update next.  That was a photo of Maui. I went to Hawaii once many many years ago and it was one of my favorite places. I am gracing you with an obscure memory of mine and a photo instead of an update. Yes, I realize it's not a good substitue for the comic, but it's the best I can do right now. ciao! |

Yay! My new apartment has internet again! Sorry for no updates this past week. To make up for it there will be a bonus comic I drew Saturday, and the regular storyline shall resume Tuesday! I hope. |

I want your opinion
I was about to sit down tonight and sketch another comic strip, but I am undecided about where I want to take things for the first chapter. I've drawn a few more which will be posted soon in which more of the family members are introduced. Here is my dilemma. After the next couple of posts should I focus more on the family life or high school life? Current Mood: indecisive |

This one actually does not further the plot or help the development in any way - I drew it simply for personal amusement. My high school econ teacher was really like this - no joke. The rest of my strips will (more like should) contribute to the actual plot. |
