COMMUNITY RULES:
1. This community is for posting pictures of gay couples.

2. All entries must contain a photo of a same-sex couple. Please do not make an entry just to introduce yourself, ask a question, or announce yourself as "single and looking". If you would like to do any of those things, you are free to do so, but please include an on-topic picture in your entry, or do so in a comment to someone else's entry.

3. All photos must be put behind a lj-cut tag, no exceptions. Please describe the type of images behind the cut, and above all please note if the images are not work safe by using either "NWS" for Not Work Safe, or "NSFW" for Not Safe For Work.

4. No hotlinking. The image you post must be safed to your own site / server / image account. If you do not have one of those, I suggest you try photobucket. Go here for help in posting an image in your entry, or here for help in posting images from angelfire, geocities, dreamwater, tripod, or fateback.

5. All images must be on-topic with the purpose of this community (same-sex couples: kissing, touching, sleeping, cuddling, ect. - images of a romantic nature).

6. Before submitting an entry, please preview your entry to make sure the image actually shows up. Everyone hates finding a where an image is supposed to be. On that note, please be prepared to leave your image up on your site for at least one month. Anyone found abusing this rule repeatedly may be subject to losing their posting abilities in the group, or removed from the group at the moderator's discretion. If you make a mistake and forget to preview your entry before posting it, or find that for whatever reason the image just isn't showing up, please do us the courtesy of deleting the entry yourself to avoid a warning from the moderator(s) or other members. Any entry found with an will be deleted by the moderator, and the author of that entry will be subject to a warning (we're just trying to keep a neat and orderly community for you and the other members).

7. This is not a community for gay porn, there are plenty of other communities for that. Nudity is allowed, but please keep it as artistic and/or tasteful as possible. The moderator(s) of this community reserve the right to delete any entry they find distasteful, inappropriate, offensive, or off topic, without warning.

8. Flaming other members of this community will not be tolerated. That is the quickest way to be banned from the community.

9. If you want to promote another community here, you must also post an on-topic picture in your entry, and only us a < lj comm > tag as a link to the community you are promoting. Please do not post banners or images to advertise the community you are promoting, do that in your own journal. Likewise, any member of this community who would like to promote us elsewhere are encouraged to also follow this rule. Please refer to that community's info page for their rules on promoting, and repesct them.

10. To report abuse of any of these rules, please write to gay1photos@livejournal.com and not the moderator's personal journal.

*Friendly suggestions* but not a requirement:
There are some people in every community who for whatever reason do not post images. If you are one of those people, please do the ones who do post a favor and comment if you like the images they post. The only way a community such as this one can be successful is if people will post images, and they are more likely to do so if you show your appreciation for their efforts, so please show your support.
