The time of the Great Hunt is coming to the Hidden Walk! Garou all around the Sept are preparing their weapons, singing their battle-hymns and thirsting for the Glory to come! Be there or be a rhomboid! (Chulash will likely be the GM.)

GarouMUSH folks might be interested in an indy film from 2006 called "Black Sheep." It's about were-sheep, so it's obviously not entirely serious; but it's about as good as any low budget were-sheep movie can ever possibly hope to be and has a good mix of action, comedy, and "ew factor" (not to be mistaken for "ewe factor"). If you're into lycanthropy-type movies, this one's (probably) worth adding to the Netflix rental queue.

Just an FYI that the wizards are well into the Totem Revision and Addition project. We've already dropped a fair amount in news - see 'news updates' for changes. I update this file every time I do a non-trivial change to news.txt.

Quick question: Some of these are long, but I'm not putting in breaks akin to 'See news totems dragonfly2' like we used to do. Does anyone object? I'd personally rather see it all and use my client's scrollbar rather than manually going through page by page. (I'm not going through old news entries just yet, though, to remove the old style everywhere.)

Also, I'm not committed to keeping the wiki in sync, so anyone who wants to, feel free. 'news updates' does have the list of entries to check.

And since I'm sure someone will ask - if your totem has changed, and you want to use the new version instead, feel free. We like them more. If you want to use the old version, send an @mail *wizards, and the next available wizard will be with you shortly to discuss it on a case by case basis.

Just a reminder, the Theurge Moot will be Sunday, June 7 at 12 pm mushtime (3 pm est and 8 pm GMT).

Location Note: We will be realm-side at the center of the caern. :D

As if he weren't busy enough already, Icetrap is ICly making noises about some basic spirit-teaching for anyone who is interested, mostly in simple, practical methods of gaining and keeping spirits' good favour. I'm not OOCly planning on doing any formal scheduling of this. If interested people would like to just congregate when I'm online and RP_OK, I'll pick things up on a more informal basis. Cubs whom Icetrap doesn't already have an OK to teach may need permission from their Elder to listen in, although most of it will be sufficiently generic that Tribal differences are unlikely to be an issue.

Challenge Moot! Today, Friday May 29th, prospective start time 7:30 PM MUSHtime (yes, I know it's late... but better late than never.)

Announcing the results of a few ranked challenges (ICly they were known since the full moon) and a sept position challenge. Anyone is welcome to come. Scene should be a very short ordeal really, since it's just Kenneth announcing those results ICly. Afterwards, anyone around is welcome to RP with each other, break off and RP elsewhere, etcetera.

Hey guys! I just wanted to toss this out there, because I was messing around with Aspen's dice roller today. Out of curiosity, I keyed in Niko's rage and auspice on the Frenzy Checker, kept her out of Crinos and stuck her on the full moon.

I share this just as a way to maybe take a snapshot of your character's rage. Granted, for Aspen's roller to work without extra math (should you explode the 10s, for example), your Garou has to be Rage 4 or higher, but... I don't know. It seemed insightful, especially after the Rage discussions. :) So take it with a grain of salt, but it might be a springboard for exploring how Rage should work with your character, or exactly how volatile Rage happens to be.

P.S. I'm sick and my brain-no-worky, so if I didn't get my idea across very well, I apologize. :)
