Battlestar Redactica - a project to provide a coherent alternative to Battlestar Galactica's final season through the magic of fan-editing - was originally released just over a month ago. I didn't link it here as it's not exactly a vid, but thought it was a shame there was no real place for fan-editing on LJ.

Now, however, I'm a little more comfortable linking this here as I've just released a selection of "DVD Extras" including a mockumentary and a selection of "deleted scenes" which I feel cleave far more closely to the tradition of AU or experimental vidding than anything else.

Deleted Scene vidlets include a creepy arrival on a mystery planet, a brand new love interest for Lee, Sam and Kara laughing over the bullet in Joe's Bar, and the use of various pieces of found footage to illustrate older versions of Hera, Nicky and Liam.

An experimental vidlet to a section of a Ron Moore podcast illustrating an unfilmed concept is also available.

The rest of the project (two movie-length fan-edits) can easily be found elsewhere on the journal.

I love to watch the clips people edit into video tributes.

Of course, especially love the Adama/Roslin vids.

Well, I finally found a decent copy of the full song (i.e., not something ripped from You Tube, but an actual mp3 from Jack Jones web site, and it was free, to boot!) and decided she was right. She usually is. taragel was kind enough to beta for me and suggest some new clips that I hadn't thought of, and ouila! It is finished.
