[06 May 2008|04:15pm] prishbiscuit [ music | belle & sebastian ] Hello! I'm Nancy, 20, from New Zealand. My eyes have been destroyed by contact lenses so I have to wear glasses for a long time. Sometimes they make me feel spunky, sometimes I feel like a dork. These are my only pair so I always find myself having to go for a more masculine/artsy kind of look. I don't feel I can pull off cute dresses anymore. I really want some like these (obviously with lenses in them). Kate Sylvester makes a pair but I can't find pics of them... 4 comments|post comment

I only just found out I needed them in July of '07 (near-sighted) and have gladly worn them since.  It's like seeing the world in fuzzy UHFand finally getting HD - I didn't know what I was missing! I've worn glasses since I was 17, and I have to say that I can't live without my current pair. I love it, but sometimes when I want to dress fancier and want to put on accessories I tend to remove some items because glasses tend to be overpowering. And putting on eyeshadow seems useless because they're not that visible :c Oh well, other people think my glasses are cool anyway, so what the heck! ^_^ me with my current pair, a black Circles with white edges and springs! Soon after, another male comrade lifted me enthusiastically and it snapped again. I desire a new pair, but my mother is a cheap woman.
