Since I don't think I've posted here before, I should probably introduce myself: I'm one of the two timers on the project and the guy in charge of actually releasing the episodes out for your delectation. In case you hadn't guessed, I'm also the one who comes up with the bad haiku on Fushigichan.com.

Haiku aside, I wanted to let you know a couple of days in advance that we are going to make the jump from offering all of the Ultraman Moebius episodes individually to having "packs" covering the old episodes and only the last few episodes available as singles.


The plan so far:

Sometime between now and Saturday, I plan to have two packs (covering episodes 1-15) up on our download page. The "official" seeds will then move over to seeding the packs rather than the individual eps. Monday evening, I will de-activate the old individual downloads completely.

Just in case you don't know, there is a 'trick' to bittorrent packs: If you already have all the episodes downloaded from us then you can...

• Start downloading the pack normally.


• Once the download starts (you're actually getting a few bytes) stop or pause the torrent.


• Find where you were downloading to on your harddrive... It should have lots of files which are where the episodes would be if you completed the download.


• Copy the episodes that you download in the past over these 'empty' files.


• Restart the download in your bittorrent client.

At this point, after a little while checking the new files, your bittorrent should decide it's completed the download and start seeding!

Why is this so important? It means that you can start helping us to seed without having to download another 3Gb+ of data from our poor computers :)


What's in it for me?

Well, you won't be doing this entirely out of altruism... You see, because of various holiday schedules, we'll be releasing episode 18 a week early. This Saturday. Just a little bit after the packs go live.

So you can try to download the episode from a computer trying to seed 3.5Gb of new data files to the hungry internets... Or you can help seed meaning that my machine only has to worry about seeding episode 18 :)
