I got a slight hint from my workplace that there *might* be a start date that better suits my needs, so I potentially might not have to eat up so much PTO so early.... If that's all good, thenI'm totally there! :)

After the past couple I've been on I decided I'd go on a cruise any day over a years worth of cons. All the food is included too in the price for that week, so its a pretty good deal considering the food is great!

Almost, ya. I'm probably going to just do the interior room, its cheaper and I don't plan on being in the room much at all but to sleep maybe. The boat has way too much to do, it will take those 5 days to see everything on the boat.

Yep.. but am not in the US. Sorry I should have said. So there is no website?

I would rather not send money through the post, I will ask my friend if he is going and then give him money ect.

Regards, Matt

This is being booked through a travel agent. Not through this LJ Community. The agent takes care of tickets, room arrangements and assignments, and dinner plans. The one I have selected is 100% legit and is one of my close friends mother that has owned her own travel company for more years then I can remember. If you want to call and ask her any questions her number is 1-800-542-3895 By the name of Maryanke (sounds like mary-onka)

Looks like $120, but they're good for 10 years I believe and they're required to get back into the US from anywhere now. I had to get mine expedited last year in time for me to get to EF in Germany and back. That only cost me a little bit more but I got it the same day from the place that did it. :)

Drink Packages.
[info]tailin
2008-05-16 04:50 pm UTC (link)
I called the travel agency to inquire about the drink packages available since the Royal Caribbean site was a little sketchy on what options were available aboard this particular ship. The "Royals Cocktails" and other alcoholic drink packages are NOT available, only the standard Soda package ($6/day + $15 gratuity).

As a note for anyone that hasn't been on a cruise before, unless you're a huge soda drinker, you don't need a drink package. There's plenty of other beverages available (coffee, tea, milk, OJ, iced tea, lemonade) that are completely free.

Wow.. been a member for a while of the community but just read through it now. :P

Unfortunately I have EF, FC, FWA, and RBW (which I run) to budget for this year but when the 'furry cruise' returns next time you can count me in. I can tell that the British need to be representing. ;)

Is it a yearly event or what's the deal?

Anyway, I look forward to seeing you all next time round! :)
