About:Welcome to [info]fullmetal_info. This comm is maintained by [info]nymeria and [info]mikkeneko. [info]hieronymousb has temporarily eaten their corpses; so sorry. They will be revived at some later date. [info]hieronymousb has been thrown to the lions, and now [info]nymeria and [info]mikkeneko reign again like some sort of nerdy homunculi. And [info]kalliel is just hanging out here.

This community is designed to provide a helpful source of links to important things posted in [info]fm_alchemist. This may include links to bittorrents, fan art and fan fiction, up-and-coming wanks, character discussions, scans and other things of note. It will be updated daily, unless something should go disastrously wrong.

This community has limited posting access, though comments are enabled. It's essentially a selective LJ feed.

24 July 2006: In order to try and help people keep the schedule straight, I'd like to ask the digesters to add one extra thing to their digest: when you're finished and are ready to post, take a moment to look in the [info]fullmetal_info userinfo to see who in the roster is next after you. Then put a note at the end saying "so-and-so, you're up next."

The standard format for posting digests looks like this:
News and Announcements Announcements from the creators, networkers, or official websites, and any post containing information about scheduling. Information about individual episodes, new chapters of the manga, also song files, radio dramas, etc. Also news and announcements concerning the [info]fm_alchemist comm itself, new communities and websites, con events, or fan-based endeavors such as doujin or compilations.
Fan Art. Any originally drawn (not traced or computer-edited) fan art for the series.
Fan Fic. Any original, prose-style (not poetry or script format) fan fic for the series.
Scans. Scans of official images in magazines, trading cards, posters, etc. Does not include cosplay photos or photos of figurines.
Icons. Any graphics intended for use with the LiveJournal interface; user icons, layouts, colorbars, and friends-only banners.
DJ Talk. Can include nothing, anything and everything that the digester wishes to include, highlight, or discuss. Anything of note that does not fit into any of the above categories can go here, or the digester may wish to point out some included entries that they thought were of especially high quality. Some standard formats that have been used, but are not required: icon of the day, quote of the day, X days since Fandom Wank counter.
The digester may also just talk about the day's entries, about their current mood, or about anything that comes to mind. The opinions expressed here are not necessarily those of Fullmetal Info or its creators, and should not be taken as such.
