Once a member, should you wish to post anonymously, simply send us an e-mail with "anonymous posting request" in the subject line and we will give you instructions to do it. Please do not send in copies of your pictures to the moderation team.
If you are already a member, are or finished medically transitioning and wish to have posting privileges, please send us an e-mail with "posting privileges" in the subject line. We will get to it shortly.
If you've been booted from the community and feel it was a mistake (routine maintenance may target journals that haven't been updated in a while or were deleted), please also email the mods -- we are happy to restore our upstanding members and hope you understand why we are diligent about membership.

This is a community devoted to FTM-specific porn and erotica. More specifically, this community's intention is to give space for Female-To-Male Transsexuals WHO HAVE ALREADY BEGUN THE PROCESS OF PHYSICAL / MEDICAL TRANSITION to feel comfortable within the confines of itself. If you do not live as a male or if you identify as something other than male, please post in one of the communities listed below. In addition, this is a moderated membership community because it contains adult content. If you are under 18 you are not permitted to post here or view the content. We request that SOFFA's utilize this space for viewing only.
There is a long list of rules that accompany this community being closed. I would suggest reading them before joining to prevent misunderstandings.
1. All rules are subject to change. However, if a change occurs, the members of the community will be informed as soon as possible.
2. All posts in this community should be on-topic. (The topic is porn and/or erotica) If you are unsure about what you are posting, ask a moderator to take a look and give you a verdict on it. If, after posting, a moderator deems your post off-topic he has the authority to delete it, leaving you a comment explaining why this happened.
3. This is a community for and about physically transitioning male-identified transgender/transsexual persons, and we do expect you to identify as such when posting. 4. You must be 18 years old or older to join this community or post in it, in any form. You also must have a birthyear on your userinfo so that moderators passing through are sure you are over the age minimum. You will have posting rights taken away if you have no birthyear listed and an investigation will be held to make sure you are of-age. If you have a birthyear listed putting you in the under-18 bracket, you will be kindly removed from the community.
5. Cross-posting is not allowed here. If you feel what you are posting is relevant to the community, then post, the moderators will decide if it is or is not on topic and leave it or delete it based on its merits.
***6. LJ-cuts (http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=75) are almost mandatory in this community. You are welcome to post a teaser picture before the cut, but you should have *some* text that explains what is behind it (such as: "boy sucking off another boy" or "me and my partner fucking") so members may pick what they would like to see and what they would not. If a moderator finds an entry uncut, he has the authority to leave you a comment asking you to use one, if it is not fixed in 24 hours then the post may be deleted.***
Members Please Note: some teaser pics may be interpreted as suggestive. Additionally, whether or not someone remembers their LJ cuts or teaser tags, you should NOT expect this to be a work-safe community.
7. Broken links/image sources will also be given a warning and then deleted at 24 hours. There is no reason to keep up a post if it has nothing to offer the members of the community.
8. Self-depreciating posts are not allowed. (such as: "I'm so ugly, why would anyone want to see me naked?") Everyone in this community is encouraged to have high self-esteem and if you have a little confidence when posting then I bet someone will leave you nice comments
9. Rude comments will be deleted and if someone repeatedly says rude things, they will be banned.
Rude comments INCLUDE comments that speak of transsexual men as "tranny" or "bois" or "genderfuckers" etc. without explicit permission-- you should use care when choosing potentially triggering phrases. Rudeness definitely also includes anything sexist, racist, classist, abilist, fatphobic, etc. The moderators work from an anti-oppression model and expect no less from the members.
10. **ABSOLUTELY NO SHARING OR COPYING of others’ photographs /
This includes sharing one's LJ account with a non-member. This is strictly prohibited.

11. If you think you recognize an anonymous poster, do not comment with any potentially revealing information. Comments which violate anonymity will be deleted and can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the community.
and finally --POSTS must be made FRIENDS ONLY! posts will be rejected and sent back to you if they come in unlocked.
