Hello all,

my name is Troy and I am a 22 (soon to be 23) year old gay transguy living just outside of Salem Oregon. I am currently a student studying my 6th year of college (I maintain that finishing in 4 years is like leaving the party at 9) and doing a double degree in accounting as well as management information systems with minors in computer science and communication. Someday I would like to have my own business dealing with landscape and pond design.

I currently work for Oregon State University (thats right we are the Beavers heh) and work for pay as a support tech and not for pay with a few of the LGBT organizations on campus.

I have been on testosterone for 16 months now and had top surgery with Dr. Fischer on December 12 2006. I hope to in the next two years be looking at bottom surgery.

I joined this community to get the opinions of other men land also to network with them.

well im 18... been on T for well over 2 years, i've never looked back... im waiting for my 'tache hairs to fill in lol.

i'm a bit slow with this site because i'm still working our how to use it but hopefully i'll have a more exciting profile soon.

i'd love to meet lots of ftms worldwide especially since i'm going travelling this summer - i'm free to act on impulse and just go anywhere! i dont know what'll happen...

i'm happy to talk about anything. i myself have just conquered the dilemma of gay relationships.

a few gentle reminders:

if you have requested membership and have not emailed the questionairre (see community info page), you will automatically be declined. there've been a few requests recently that have come in unaccompanied. these were all declined, but please fill out the app and reapply.

also - members, there are some unlocked posts hanging out there from a while back that really need to be locked. please take a look. i'd recommend logging out and reloading the community page to see if any of yours show up. if they don't get locked, they will have to be deleted.

Hey guys. I don't remember if I introduced myself or not:

My name is Emiry. I am 25 and live in Vermont. I have been on T for 1.5 years and had Peri with Fischer 1 year ago.

At this point I feel as though I don't want to go through an invasive surgery if it's not neccesary. My doc told me that a hysto isn't neccesarilly vital for ftms, however it is very important to get regular check ups of that area (because of the increased risk for cancer).

Just wondering what others sentaments are on the matter.

intros are MANDATORY. just something short, your name, how long you've been transitioning, etc...

I was reading Jess's post and I to sometimes tire of the shots I do weekly now but would love to use the gel if I wasn't so unsure it would work. Some of the UK trannies use sustanon and I wonder if that will ever be available in the US also there is another combo T and it is admin 1x a month 4ml thats a lot but once a month also not an option in the US. SOme dudes get the small incision in the glute and get the pellets every 3 months. If it was 2x a year that might be worth it but I don't want to get sliced 4 times a year. I have had a hysto but my doc doesnt give a crap about my "levels" pre or post said it doesn't matter really. Does anyone know why sustanon isnt available in the US, I am guessing it is a pharmaceutical stand off, money money money

WOO HOO!" are not appropriate for this community. Yes, we're all excited for you, but this isn't the place for those kind of announcements or discussions.

Welcome to FtMen. This is a community for people who were female born and/or raised but who now live as men. This community is only for those who were female born who now identify as male and have pursued or are actively pursuing steps to solidify that identity either socially, physically or both.

This community does not intend to make any judgments about people who don't fit within this model and acknowledges and appreciates the nuances that exist within all genders. This community does not require that members be gender normative, but it is not the right space for people who fluctuate between male and female identities. Rather, it is a community for those of us who live full-time as men. Men of all sexual orientations are welcomed.
