Title: Dark Princesses, Crow’s Wings and Hero’s Broken Dreams
Chapter: Nine
Rating: Mature for sex, violence and other lovelies. (Oh, yes, there is SEX of epic proportions in this story.)
Spoilers:Fate Route for FSN, slight hints from Ultimate Blade Works, and Tsukhime
Parings: FINALLY, Rin/Archer all the way!
Summary: The road to becoming a true magus is never easy, especially when one’s learning at the Mage’s Association Clock Tower in London. However, things are going to get a lot worse for one Tohsaka Rin when the Black Princess of the Dead Apostles decides to up her sibling rivalry to get the White Princess of the True Ancestors’ attention. She’ll go to any lengths to do so, including bringing the Mage’s Association to their knees.

Get Well Soon: Issei and Shirou; fluff; 245 words; manga spoilers. Issei wakes up in the hospital and receives a card.
Mahou Shoujo: Rin and Archercentric; humor; 400 words; Fate/unlimited codes x Battle Moon Wars crossover. Archer does not enjoy being Rin's mascot character at all.
Night Out: Issei/Shirou; humor; 325 words; implied sex. Issei asks Shirou out to a restaurant; Shirou reflects on the evening.
'Miss' Homurabara Pageant: Issei, Shirou, Shinji, and Archercentric, with many others; a few implied pairings; 3,218 words; set during Hollow Ataraxia. Shinji participates for the sake of his reputation, Archer enters to please his Master, Shirou joins because he's forced to, and Issei wishes the crossdressing pageant had never been created.

So, after months and months of nothing, I go and use the Third Magic to resurrect this fic.
For a little while there, I was distracted from my Type-Moon fanboyism. And when it was restored, I decided I would actually play through all of Fate/stay night, seeing as the full patch was finally done. Going through everything with the voice patch installed took forever. But I'm glad I did; it provided a whole lot of info and details that standard trolling of forums could not provide. If you haven't had a chance to go through everything, I suggest you do. ^-^
Now that Toradora! is over, I suppose I can get back to my writing. I actually had this chapter mostly completed and I went through it and finished it up today. I'll have to try to utilize my school's library more often as it provides a very nice distraction free and quiet environment (unlike the library I work in).
So, here is the next chapter in what I hope will turn out to be a halfway decent fic.
Chapter 4: Murder
Summary: An unwilling guest to the psychotic mage Lancaster, Rin witnesses first hand the extent of his dangerous scheme as well as the extent of his cruellty. In her most desperate hour, allies appear as the story truly begins.
Rating: 13+ for violence and cruellty.
Genre: I don't know... action and drama I guess... probably get more romantic later, although I'm not sure to what extent...

While waiting for BL's team to actually translate the whole piece, it had occurred to me that my friends here in this community are missing out in the EPICNESS that is Fate/Zero. So, after a few hours today of fiddling around I've decided to post.
This is around 90% accurate. Using a general summary strategy for translating Middle English Arthurian texts, I have gone for the "gist" and also tried, to the best of my ability to use word-for-word translations of the actual text. Enjoy, and if there are any clarification questions, I'll be happy to answer them to the best of my ability. In terms of F/Z characterization and general knowledge, I claim some small amounts of expertise. Please do not hesitate to request translations of other bits and sections, along with questions. Sources: Chinese F/Z novel (Physical, hard-cover), Chinese F/Z .txt floating around on forums, Japanese F/Z (full-text).
This scene occurs during the feast of Kings, in which Rider, Saber, and Archer (Gil) are drinking and asking each other about the meanings of Kingship. The group is ambushed by Assassins.

Summary: To wordlessly bear the brunt of fortune's assault, or to take arms against the unyielding currents of fate? That is the question each master and their respective heroic spirits must ask themselves as they are thrusted into a situation where powerful forces rage beyond anyone's control due to a paradox created by the last Heaven's Feel.

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Traditions around the winter season are rich and varied, from the Islamic festival of Ramadan, to the Jewish Hannukah, to the Christian Christmas, to even pagan festivals celebrating the winter solstice. Naturally, it took a bit of effort to find a theme all these holidays had in common, but it was worth it. Whatever the tradition, now is the time for family, home, and coming together to celebrate no matter what part of the world you hail from. Your challenge fic can revolve completely around the theme, or have just a mention-anything's fine. Of course, all lengths, genres, pairings and ratings are welcome(with appropriate warnings for any, ahem, stuff of an ero-ish nature, naturally. Let's think of the children, now.)!
As for the prize...it hasn't been decided yet. But I promise you all-it will be EPIC. So write! Write until your fingers bleed!
The challenge ends on December 31st, so go and get those entries out! If we get enough of them, we'll offer two months paid time to the first and second runner ups as well.
To submit, just write the fic and post it to the main community, with the following information in the subject line- "[Holiday Challenge]-[Home For The Holidays]-[Fic Title]".
