AboutWhether you're a skating diva with a killer double-toe-loop, or an ardent fan who cheers on the skaters from the comfort of your couch, this community will be your place for discussion of figure skating in all its aspects.
Started for fans from other fandoms (like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel) who happen to love to watch figure skating, this community welcomes anyone who has an interest in squeeing about costumes, music choices, skaters' backgrounds and personalities, and skating-related gossip.
All topics related to figure skating are welcome. We'll open posts and threads for discussion of competitions and exhibitions, host discussions about the best skating movie you can rent, and share links that will take you to helpful and fun information about the skaters and the skating community.
You don't need to be an expert, or ever have donned a spangly costume -- you just have to love to watch and talk about figure skating.
Some rules:
1. Please use a cut-tag for spoilers for results of competitions and for long posts.
2. Please cut-tag large graphics and any more than three icons.
3. Spam is unwelcome, as is chat-speak. Posts containing spam, chat-speak, or un-cut spoilers are subject to deletion.
4. You may promote another community that is related to figure skating, but do this one time only.
5. Absolutely no flames of individuals, and no importing of conflicts from other communities or boards. Deletion of comments and banning of users in such cases will happen at the discretion of the moderators.
