So what the hell is 411?

411 is an acronym used to describe any relationship or interaction between the two gentlemen Vexen and Marluxia from the Square/Disney videogame series Kingdom Hearts.
Being number IV and XI respectively in the mysterious Organization XIII from said game, their numbers of rank together form - 411.

MARLUXIA x VEXEN

Vexen, number IV, is the resident scientist of Organization XIII. He was once known as Even, and was one of the six apprentices of Ansem the Wise, and thus also one of the founding members of the Organization.
His title is The Chilly Academic; he masters the element of ice, and in battle his weapon is a huge, spiked shield used for both attack and defense. Vexen appears as one of the antagonists in the game Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

Marluxia, number XI is one of the neophytes of Organization XIII, but while having very low rank in number, he obviously wields a lot of influence within the Order. Appointed Lord of Castle Oblivion he plots to use memories to ensnare the Keybearer into slavery and use him as a weapon to take over the Organization for himself.
Marluxia is called the Graceful Assassin and he wields a huge scythe for a weapon. His element is flowers, which he uses for attacks in battle and to create illusions. He is the main antagonist of the game Kindom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

411 is a perfectly illogical thing, seeing as how the two characters pretty much loathe each other. But with a bit of creative interpretation, general goodwill and certainly not least, fascination for the constant power-play going on, it can be made to make sense.
Whether on an intimate/romantic level or just as interest for the character dynamics is in each beholder's eye. Either way it's a relationship full of lovely tension and dysfunctionality - and the closer you look, the more ensnared you will become. until teh 411 eats your brainz!!


COMMUNITY RULES AND GUIDELINES

* First and foremost - Play nice. No flaming or bashing allowed. Be polite, treat people as you yourself would like to be treated. Bullies are not welcome here. If people ask for criticism, be constructive. Let's keep this a happy place!

* Lj-cut - Please place art and fics behind cuts and write out a short description for what's behind it - and give proper warnings when so needed. Cuts keeps the trolls at a distance and the watchers' lists nice and uncluttered. If you're new to LJ and need help, don't hesitate to ask around - we're all friends here. :)

* The theme for posts should of course be 411. This means that anything you post must have something to do with either Vexen, Marluxia, or both. Works featuring only one of them are perfectly fine, too.

* The purpose of this community is to work as a forum for fans of Vexen, Marluxia and 411 to get together, pimp their work, post links to good art and fics that may be of interest to the others, etc. Ideally it should be an active community - if you want to get comments on your own work one day, do take a moment to post encouragement and appreciation for others. Don't be afraid to de-lurk and share whatever 411-related goodness you have - even for non-LJ users, this community will serve as a link-collection and source of inspiration.

* Who can post? This is an open community, which means that anyone with an account on LJ can post entries, and anyone can post comments. Let's keep it nice and active, peoples! The gospel doesn't spread by itself. :)
