Good morning, hostiles.


o I've never been able to get the butter into those square little pats. Since I was little, I tried to get it into the perfect square pat--not an easy task considering we always bought the spreadable butter.

My dad finally made a little square mold for me once, and from thereafter, I had square butter on my pancakes/waffles/whathaveyou. A happy ending.

o Padma and his hat have been reunited. Yay.

o Padma and Rafi have been reunited. Yay for this as well. Life isn't the same without your short Satanic sidekick.

o Mm. Dangerous toast. And yes, the missile reads "Padma is groovy".

And so ends the Government Padma storyline. :) Though there's still three more weeks of this Problematic episode left.

o This Monday: angels, demons, and Padma's creative schizophrenia. In color, even!

I always wanted spreadable butter, but we always had sticks. So, far from square pats, I managed to totally tear apart whatever I was trying to stylishly spread my butter onto.

AHA! So if you buy those quarter-stick portions, all you really have to do is slice a really thin piece off and you have a square pat! Or quarter your normal-sized stick of butter and do the same. Genius!

But yes, I am familiar with the unspreadable butter debacle. Many a sandwich met its undignified end that way in my childhood. Now I don't even eat butter, so hurray for margarine!

Do you get your butter stick straight out of the fridge?

Microwave it for fifteen seconds.

It comes out slightly melted, making it perfect to spread. Yay!

I've always tried various 'warming' tricks (microwave, putting it next to the toaster while toasting), but they've all ultimitely ended in a butter puddle. Sexy as that is, I've simply given up butter.

Cream cheese is much kinder to me than butter. I'm thinking of asking cream cheese to go steady with me, but I'm afraid to because of the emotional scarring that butter left on my soul.

LOL, there's nothing like dangerous toast to get the day started, is there? I love Rafi in that oufit! He's almost a step away from looking like a short satanic priest.... Ooooh, Padma's hat! YAY! I like the key hook in the backround. We had one when I was a kid, but I always mangaed somehow to knock it off the wall. Me = gravatationally challenged.

I never really cared what shape my butter was, I just wanted to get it on my toast and still have something left to eat!

I love the good morning thing. It's so pleasant.

He is a short satanic priest. :D That's the beauty of it. Randomly, there're three sets of keys. The ones with the pentagram are Rafi's.

I just wanted square butter for the aesthetically pleasing shape.
