Good morning, hostiles.

There is a new archive page, and one piece of fanart!

I have more fanart somewhere. I just can't find it. :\

o A thing that vexes me about text heavy comics is that I have to block out the neat background things. For example, you can't tell that in the background, there's a big Maharassa family portrait consisting of Padma, Nefertari, Rafi, Fatima, and Kailen.

I'll see if I can draw a bigger version of it and post it.

o Kailen's pulling Fatima's hair in the first panel. Ah, siblings.

o At this point in time, Padma's hat is probably about ten years old. Just figured I'd mention that.

o And Nefertari with 80's fashion sensibilities is fun to draw. Whee, fluffy hair! I'll admit I like the other style better, though, and will be happy to get her back to it after the hairspray decade has passed.

You so know she was the neighborhood Hot Mom.

o I figure Padma's developed a plethora of pet names for her. Mm. Plethoras.

o For those of you who are writing me to ask for more boy on boy action, I will give you this: the quiet CIA agent in the back? Is thinking of snogging his leader.

There you go. I hope that's good enough for you.

Actually, I'd totally forgotten about the prospect of more boy on boy action someday, and was just enjoying the goofy.

i just got onto friendly hostility, and i think its great. its funny, actually with witty comments, not like those other webcomic that have nothing but corny jokes...but yea, i am a new fa of friendly hostility starting today.

I like the other hair too. But Nefertari is a gorgeous lady, so I reckon she pulls off the hairspray look.

Y'know, I'm all about the hot boy-on-boy action...

But Padma and Nefertari? There's just something about a couple still crazy about each other after decades together that sends me to my happy place.

Yeah, even if he doesn't play a big part in this story arc. He'll have more screen time by the next arc, when he'll be a good eight or so, and thus able to wreck havoc. :)

Just joined the community. I have a confession to make.

I only today read FH for the first time.

I know, I know, I'm a cad. But it took that long to finish mourning BMB. I didn't want anything to sully its memory, fill its shoes or borrow its toothbrush.

But dangitall, FH grabs me by the short hairs. I'm drawn in. In a very few strips you've made me want to know these people.

You have talent, m'dear, I've always known and always said so. You shall be the recipient of my FIRST fanart since I have taken over the artist duties at PDI.

All the same, I'm glad to have you aboard--and even gladder to have the Scix "humor snob" seal of approval.

I didn't really want to replace BmB with FH, hence the differences in styles. I'd like to think it stands on its own.

So, thank you for giving it a chance. :) And I'm quite pleased you liked it.

I've been in luff with Fh from the very beginning! Padma and Nefertari are so cute! and i dont care if padma's hat is 10 years old, it suits him very well :)

Haven't said anything as of yet, but a glimpse of baby fox demands some comments! I loved boy meets boy and am extremely happy that you've decided to focus on Collin/Fox. And Padma and Nefertari have been wonderful! Love them muchly! Doing fantastic!
