o Happy 50 Episodes. Good god is this comic fun to do. :) Thanks for coming along for the ride, folks.

o I like Panel One, but notice the heavy shadow? That's what cranking out 15 pages of Utopia will do to you. "What? No heavy blacks? It's daytime? ::Shock::"
(And before anyone asks about it, I can't tell you when it'll come out, as setting dates generally guarantees something will come up and I'll miss the deadline. I am *hoping* for late August, but frankly will be pleased if I get it up before December.)

o He honestly regrets having scared her. All cat-killing aside, he's not a bad guy. Really. I mean, the forgery and other illicit activities aside, as well. Er.

o As my friend [info]ninjakitten said, "Pus is less interesting than evil." Indeed.

o This has nothing to do with the comic, but who here thought that Eddie Brock's relationship with the symbiote was sick, twisted, and kind of cute?

Damn straight.

And yes, I agree with your thoughts on Brock and his symbiote. Petey didn't know what he was loosing when he gave it up!

Hmmm... about that whole pus/evil thing: After my cat had an eye infection and he had to be constantly watched so he didn't eat the pus, I think I can say that pus is a physical manifestation of evil.

I try hard not to be too much of a raving fangirl, but I just adore Rafi's expression in the third panel. Because ... I just do.

And something of a paradox ... I get this picture of Betsy wearing pastel pink in my head when I think about her, and yet ... would that make her evil, or would her nervousy goodness just cancel it out?

Scarily: yes. Yes I can. I think it's the way he calls her 'Miz Sri'vastra' and says things like 'with all due respect' even though she plainly marked him as a Bad Apple™ on first sight. Rafi's such a gentleman. :)

Luckily for Collin, he's already been born.

Or maybe not, since he liked the Church Car so very much.

But, if pastel pink is the color of evil, and he had pinkeye, isn't it reasonable to surmise, according to Rafi's opinions on colors, that pinkeye *is* a manifestation of evil?

Besides, in that last panel, he never denies that it was a physical manifestation. He could mean that the *only* manifestation of evil was "just pinkeye"...

I'm always crazy days behind on everything..meh.
comic rocks, as always
and on Eddie Brock, I wrote an 8 page paper on that very topic. I was supposed to describe a master-slave relationship in a "well-known" piece of literature to "change the focus" to blah blah awful assignment blah. And I wrote about Brock and the symbiote. There was a total power struggle between them AND a definite separation of power. It was really awesome. I love stories and things where characters are forced to merge with another being (I did a total happy dance in Lotr TT when gollum has a spaz attack).

damn. now I want to play Maximum Carnage on snes.
