I'd like to be first. Juvenile but true.

1. Soothing sound:
Wind, rain, waves. I'm lucky enough to hear all three, right now.
2. Comfort food:
Pasta bolognese. I love it.
3. Relaxing music:
Portishead. Look up "sour times" and play it.
4. Gentle voice:
Hmmm. I don't have one of those.
5. Calming smell:
The sea. I love the sea.

plain ol' chocolate...or mom's roast beef

I have this cd of African vocal rhythms that helps me relax and sleep

The smell of lilacs or lavender

    5. I like it when my landlady is cooking or baking something and I can smell it in my room. Reminds me of being at home or at my grandma's.
