AboutThere are fans of the Chalet School lurking in all corners of the internet. Every time it is mentioned, or crossover fic is written, there is at least one commenter who remembers it fondly but can find no fandom for it. We are here to spread the Chalet School love to all four corners of the virtual earth in whatever way we can. Write crossovers, make icons, do whatever in you lies and at every turn pimp out the name of ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif)
freudesheim and fans will flock. Well, that's the idea at least.
We welcome all sorts of posts from discussions to fanfic to icons and graphics to pretty much anything really. Please take a moment to read the school rules - they're not too mean and will help everything run smoothly.
SCHOOL RULES
1. No flaming. Debate is encouraged but keep it nice. Remember to behave like a good Chalet School girl. People are entitled to their own opinions, after all. Bad behaviour will merit a warning from your friendly neighbourhood mods.
2. Proper English Please. This means no txt spk, using capital letters where they're due etc etc. We all make spelling mistakes from time to time, but too many make people's brains hurt.
3. Use lj-cuts. Please put all fic (except the header) and any long entries behind an lj-cut. If you're unsure how to do this, the FAQ on it is here
4. Embrace the joy of tags. We mods will memory things as and when we have time, but tags are a joyful way to keep track of entries. All you need to do is go to "edit tags" once you've posted and choose the relevant ones. There's also a "new tag needed" one that you can use when there isn't a useful right one. We will create as many tags as we can think of for your use, and add to them as needed.
5. Fic posting All Chalet School fanfic will be welcomed with open arms. Please include headers on your fic for the convenience of readers, it makes it much easier for them. The usual fic heading template is as follows, although you may adapt it to suit your wishes (e.g. Crossover etc):
