AboutFree association, with pictures.
There are a few simple rules:
1. Notice the amusing chain of associated images! Then look at the most recent image at the very end of all the comments. Be mindful that there may be multiple pages.
2. Respond to that image with an image of your own. (Find some here.)
3. IMPORTANT: when you add your image to the chain, use the "Post a new comment" link instead of "Reply to this." Don't put your image in a reply to another individual image. This way, we'll get a nice long sequence of associations that you can see by just scrolling down the page, instead of messy, convoluted threads that LJ will eventually truncate.
4. Or start your own game of free association tag with a new post (Keep the frequency reasonable, about one-a-day).
5. Be clever.
6. Oh, and be fast -- if someone beats you to the reply, then your association won't make sense, and all your cleverness will be for naught. If you post an image and find out that someone beat you, it'd be cool if you cleared yours out.
7. Advertising or other word posts will be mocked and may be deleted.
8. Don't start a new chain with an image that's not safe for people at work. Smut that, er... pops up, down in a chain is fair game, though.
