It's story time
So, I discovered last week there were only four Freakazoid fics on FF.net, all unfinished or abandoned. I decided to help remedy this, so I've been working on my own fic. (Which makes five unfinished fics.) If anybody would be willing to beta future installments of this fic for me, you would have my gratitude. I'm going to need help getting the feel and pop-culture references right. Title: All Freaked Out and Nowhere to Go

FREAKZOID SEASON 2!!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! (s'about damn time!)
 Hey Guys! just a reminder, Freakazoid Season 2 comes out tomorrow!! i know it's not something typically carried by WalMart or Target, but I know we got it in store at our best buy, so i'd imagine most other best buys have it! (on sale for $19.99, same price as Amazon) man i've been waiting for a while for it to be released! i can't believe the day is almost here! season 2 has all the best episodes! RIP
Ricardo Montalban has passed away. He will be terribly missed by all his fans, us crazy cartoony ones included. He was brilliant in so many things including Freakazoid, over a long and eclectic genre-defying career. As we know, he had a great sense of humor and was never afraid to laugh at himself by playing things like our beloved Armando Gutierrez. We're still laughing with you! |

F! Season 2 DVD
No word on release date yet, but the bonus features were recorded last Thursday. No episode commentaries this time, but apparently they did something else to make up for it. |

Hi, I'm new here. I have a couple of questions, if no one minds. First, where can I find any Freakazoid! fanfic? (Apart from on Fanfiction.net, because I've already read the three that are there.) Does no one here write? And my second question (no, I can't count) is which episode do we find out about the Freak-a-zone in? Because I'm not sure I ever saw that one. Edit: I found the Freak-a-zone ep - it's "Next Time, Phone Ahead!" |

A plea from John McCann and Paul Rugg

Anyway, I got my DVDs on release day and wrote about 'em on my LJ, if you want my take on 'em. (And if you scroll down a bit you'll see a video of me wearing my Freakazoid shirt!) As for Season 2, since I forgot to mention anything here: The bonus feature recording was supposed to happen last month, but has been postponed. There is a delay as WB secures the rights to include the song We'll Meet Again which is sung in the final episode. However, Season 2 is still on the cards for release next year. |

also, I almost forgot to post about this: in the past 24 hours, TVonDVD.com has totally come through with AWESOME news! Two awesome shows are FINALLY coming out on DVD!! Freakazoid is finally coming out! GOD I LOVE THIS SHOW!! basically it describes the silliness of the internetlong before the internet was known for its silliness! :D Also, Birds of Prey: The Complete Series is finally announced to be coming out soon! Both available on DVD July 29th! :D |

Freakazoid DVD extras
The Freakazoid! season 1 DVD will have not only interviews, but three whole episodes will have commentary from Paul Rugg, John P. McCann and Tom Ruegger. The interviews have been recorded already (Tom says they were "a blast" and that Rugg & McCann are "still hilarious, as one would imagine"). They'll be recording the commentary next week. |

OMG YES!!!! :D
Dear god please let this be true! The news on TVshowsondvd.com suggests that Freakazoid! may be coming to DVD finally!! it was listed among several other titles in a recent poll by Warner Home Video along with Tiny Toon Adventures. Tiny Toon Adventures is of course, the more well known and as such more in demand. But recent news from several different sources suggest that Freakazoid! and a couple other titles that ranked highly in the poll may all be taken off the backburner for release sometime in 2008! :D |
