15th-Jul-2009 01:16 am - Hello...
Um, i'm moving to Paris in October and I have a couple of questions.

1. Do you have taco bell?

2. Do you have refried beans?

3. Do you have raman noodles?

That's all I want to know.

Thanks...

Come bask in the wonder that is Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School, a series of unusual life-drawing sessions in Paris, starring fabulous models and burlesque dancers, music and cocktails!

The next Dr. Sketchy's event will be on the 24th of July: an evening of live sketching as an homage to Art Nouveau, the turn-of-the century art movement that was inspired by organic, sensual forms. It will star Les Fleurs Sauvages, a charmingly delicate performance duo from England, as well as other beautiful pin-ups. They pose, and you sketch them, it's as simple as that. Can't draw to save your life? Try "drunk drawing", our tried and true method! Don't forget to bring a sketchpad, eraser and pencils. Participation in the drawing session is 10 euros.

The drawing session will be at the Curio Parlor bar, 16 rue des Bernardins, in the 5th, Metro Maubert-Mutualite, from 7:30pm-9:30pm.

'Tour of the Universe' by groundbreaking electro legends Depeche Mode has started! The trek is in support of the group's 12th studio album, 'Sounds of the Universe', which was released in April.

The first leg of the trek was marred when lead singer Dave Gahan was struck by a severe bout of gastroenteritis, which occurred before the band were to take to the stage in Athens. Sixteen dates were subsequently cancelled or postponed. Nonetheless on June, 27th the band played their show in Paris, France. It was fantastic!

One hundred years ago this month impresario Sergei Diaghilev presided in Paris over the first of his 'Russian Seasons', the results of which were to cause one of the most profound revolutions ever in the world of dance. The 'Russian Seasons' have brought Russian culture to the attention of everyone.

Ballet companies all around the world are marking this anniversary with festivals and special performances. This month Diaghilev’s troupe is back to Paris!

I would type in french, but unfortunately I've yet to learn the keyboarding guides to accents and symbols.

My name is Jill, and I'm finishing up my fourth college semester of French (however, with the background of three years in highschool and a love for Yeye). I am going to be double majoring in French and Italian with prospects to attend culinary schools overseas and perhaps agriculture afterward.

This is merely my greeting, and call for advice. If anyone has anything to add to my career desires or knows much of the culinary/agriculture areas in foreign schools- please, let me know!

Hello there,

In a few years I want to do a license professional, to do so I need to already have a Bac+2. I am Australian (I live in France now) and studied the equivalent of a Bac+3, however, official equivalences technically don't exist in France but I wondered how strict they are when it comes to that...
Could anyone tell me if they entered a higher level program (without being an erasmus type student) with their international qualifications?

Thanks a bunch!
