fracturedtales or completely known as
A Fractured Fairytale: A Sasusaku Alternative Universe Anthology.
This community was first created from the recesses of an idle mind and boredom. And because we need to revive our Sasusaku muses by deviating from the Canon, *coughcough* this little family was born.
So now, how does the community work?
i.
the song: First, choose a song.
You can post the lyrics here, and have it's corresponding mp3 downloads / youtube video link underneath.
Your choice can be
a)
in a different language (as long as you provide some translations.)
b)
a classical piece c)
anything as long as it complements the theme of your fiction/category.
Tag your post with
submission: songchoice Also list the (either permanent/temporary) genre category of your work.
Subject Format: [Song choice]
Your
tag name is provided by your mods.
If you wish to change your song choice or its genre, just kindly inform us.
ii.
the fanfiction: Create an
Alternative Universe for your Sasusaku fanfiction from the chosen song. You don't have to post it immediately, but you must inform us what type of universe you want to write.
With this you can tag it with
submission: fanfiction, category: (chosen genre) Genre is classified into three:
Humor | Crack | Fluff Angst | Tragedy | Dark Romance | Drama | Serious Also you must have the following format when posting your fics.
Subject Format: [Fanfiction: Song Choice]
You can comment constructive criticisms, reviews and comments. There is
no word limit for your fanfiction submissions, but it must be a
one-shot.
Do not post the fanfiction in your personal LJs or ff.net account.ii pt. v. If you wish, you can post half-finished ideas. You will tag them as submission: fanfictionexcerpt. ^__^ If you want to collaborate with the other authors, you can inform your mods about this arrangement. iii.
the fanart: you must choose a featured fanart for your fiction. You can either
a)
pick a fanart from the galleries of Sasusaku AU fanarts (either from deviantart, websites or from
our own photobucket account The moderators will act as your mediators and ask permission for you to use the image.
b)
draw your own fanart/ hire a non-member artist to draw for you.c) inform us, and
we will find someone to illustrate it for you.
d)
the moderators or head layout artist of that category will choose for you. When posting the image, post and tag
submission: fanart along with the following information.

iv.
the purpose: this community is for telling us your progress with the fics and fanarts. Post some excerpts, suggestions, complaints, deadline extensions and spam.
