Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
So Im in the bathroom of Wendy's and i found a notebook. Well, it was being used as a diary. (I still have to scan the pics, but there's an interesting story to go with this) so I felt all sneaky for reading someone's private thoughts, but I kept reading. Anyway on one of the dividers there was a bunch of art and an LJ name (which i wont mention) and a LJ community name (which Ill get to later) so I started to "stalk" this person's personal LJ and their personal entries in the written journal that I found were much more intriguing than there real journal, but i didn't know if i should tell them. So about the community it was [info]youcantwrite and i had been checking it out for a few days. i guess it's a rating community that this person belonged to only the name is suppposed to be ironic because if you are accpeted you can write. so i applied and got less than stellar reviews, but the person whose journal i found wrote me a particularly scathing review. It infuriated me so that I started to recite entries I had found in the comments. The post has since been deleted and I sort of feel bad about my behavior now. I will scan some of the entries in tonight.

Haha thats an awesome story! What a strange turn of events!

Well, the person is a little dumb for leaving so much information about themselves just laying around. I think it's funny that you recited her entries XD

haha, excellent. i mean, it's pretty immature to get back at them like that, but it's definitely the best way to get under someone's skin. most rating community members/judges are pretty much elitist, self-absorbed scum anyway, so they probably deserved it.

Posting a known person's diary without their permission is extremely unethical. The fact that she's on LJ makes it even more heinous. Please, restrain yourself and just return the diary to her.

i honest to god think this is the best thing i've ever read/seen on this community. i'm thrilled that people have some interest in their world other than taking silly pictures of all the stupid crap they can buy with their wallets.

proof that the internet can interact with our walking lives. good work.

From the Found Objects community user info: This is an art-oriented community, with an emphasis on photography

I don't think any one bothered to read/remembers this.

And I don't think that someone behaving in a very childish manner because someone didn't like their writing, especially when they ASKED this person (albiet indirectly) for their opinion, has anything to do with photography, or art, for that matter.

Therefore, this certainly is not the best thing you've ever seen on this community, even if you do not realize it.

And I agree, photos of "stuff I totally bought, like, three whole months ago" doesn't really qualify, either.

First, copywrite laws do not apply, because the journal was not copywritten.

Obviously you don't know the first thing about copyright.

Okay friends.

First, EDIT: I was corrected, kindly, by ivyblossom, excuse my stupidity.

Secondly, posting the journal is no worse than posting a found card or picture.

Furthermore, as far as I can tell, "Prime_Radient" chose to reveal themselves as the author. (Although, if I am mistaken, please feel free to correct me.)

Lastly, take a breath, drink some water, and relax.

This too, shall pass.

Yes, I agree. Its not like she even told anyone who the author was. And as sure I am of her being about 13 by the way she keeps shouting "LAW SUIT, LAW SUIT!" It would be awfully hard to prove the author of the writings anyways without the original journal. Looks like the finder holds the upperhand, posession is 9/10ths.

Plus I got this great mental image of this girl eating a burger at Wendy's and then with an upset stomach she heads to the bathroom to relieve herself. Suddenly being struck with the greatest of inspiration (who wouldn't be in such inspirational surroundings), she decided to do a little journaling while she is there. Sadly the after glow of such a compelling entry left her so dazed that she left the journal behind, forgotten in the second stall of a fast food restaurant.

As funny as this idea is, it seems a little fake though. Who here has their livejournal user name written down anywhere?
