I like her modeling, but I really don't understand why people rave about how she dresses. It just looks like she's from the 80s/early 90s. Help?

maybe its because ive been overexposed to boombox types and new rave fashion victims for the last year or so,but these just look like a more professional version of some shoreditch scenester fashion disaster. her modeling is amazing,i just find the styling (especially the hair and clothes) too over the top and contrivedly ubercool somehow. the make up/glitter usage wouldve been more effective in a more toned down/grimy/classic shoot,i find. to create a bit a bit of a contrast. this is a bit of an overdose. not offensive,very high gloss and impressive modeling on deyn's part, but boring and a bit desperate.
