Staple* - FF7/FF13/KH/WEWY Doujinshi Project

STAPLE* is a doujinshi anthology for the fandoms Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy XIII, Kingdom Hearts and It's a Wonderful World/The World Ends With You. I'm searching for Filipino artists to contribute to further promote and inspire fellow Pinoys to draw manga and doujinshi. STAPLE* will be sold in LIGHTS OUT CON 2008.
*The title is debatable and can be changed. The reasoning for the title now is because of Nomura-sama's staple designs for Cloud/Sora/Roxas/Ven/Neku,
I'm basing these guidelines loosely around
carneaglariel and futomimii's own doujinshi anthologies. ^_^;; I hope they don't mind me using them.TYPES OF SUBMISSIONS:
*FANART - These can be 4-komas, one-page doujinshis, short manga and illustrations. You can submit as many as you want for any of these.
*FANFICTION - No limits here other than please don't send us an epic. Otherwise, there are no other requirements. However, if you're able to partner up with an artist to draw insert illustrations for it, that would be really, really great.
*MANIFESTO - Not entirely required, but encouraged. Either in art form or written, a page's worth stating/showing your most favorite FF7/FFXIII/KH/WEWY NON-MAINSTREAM guilty-pleasure pairing and justify why you like it.
GENERAL RULES:
*You can submit any of the above, with no restrictions to any of them. If you want, you can submit a mixed bag of all.
*To be an In-house Artist, you must submit 6 submissions or more. (eg. 2 illustrations, 1 4-koma... generally 6 pages of stuff and more. Likewise if you draw a manga that's more than 6 pages, it counts too!)
Those who submit less than that will be considered as Guest Artists.
*ALL submissions must be scanned in at 300dpi, A5 size (148 x 210 mm). You can of course, send me a bigger resolution file if you trust me to resize your pic.
*All submissions must be in black and white, screentoned or you can even use grey tones. Pencil works are fine too.
*NO explicit language and no R-17, R-18, or R hentai, yaoi or yuri. Shounen-ai, shoujo-ai and het are allowed. PG only, unless someone bribes me with... apple pie. Or chicken nuggets. No net food or scans. That's just cruel.
*Comics read from right to left, because it's easier to do.
*Artists are required to send in a freetalk page as well. Basically, the artists can rant and draw whatever message they want.
*Please send all submissions to my email: croixsouillees @ yahoo.com with the subject "I think (Genesis/Marluxia/Joshua) is (insert word choice here)."

*As this is a non-profit project, in-house artists will get a free copy while guest artists will get the copy at half price, as this is only fair to the in-house artists. We, the artists, will not gain profit through this.
*Those who wish to buy it in the Philippines, you can do so in Komikon or if there's enough left over, we can have meet-ups so long as you're in MM area and if you're willing to feed the poor, poor soul who'll deliver it to you. Or if you'd like, you can get it through mail.
*As for those who live outside of Philippines, they will have to pay for the shipping fee.

Yes, July. I'm really sorry for cutting the time so much. It's been suggested that we print it for selling for LO/Yaoicon this year and I agree. However, seeing as LO is in September, I'd need time to get it edited and then printed.
With the number of contributors, I may or may not be forced to either split the anthology into two books depending on the fandom or I may have to enforce quality control. I'm really sorry.
The language used for the anthology will be English, and Filipinos abroad (yes, you may be half, one-fourths, even one-eighth Filipino) are allowed to join. However, if you become an in-house artist, your book will be free but you may end up having to pay for shipping. ^^;;;
