My mother was surfing on the internet the other day on her computer, just after sunset, when I had this sudden perfect picture in my mind, looking at her face in the light of the screen, for the light the room's halogen was turned off. I asked her not to move, and went to fetch my camera. I didn't even try to change the settings, just took the picture right away. I think I was scared the impression of the moment would go away.

I will be moving soon, as far as the next village after mine. Thing is, when you become attached to a place, it kind of looks like the other side of the world. Anyway, because my mother -- whome I adore but rarely consults me -- chose the house without me, I attempted to find the house on my own, with my bike. And got lost, of course.

But never without my camera!

Second part of my stay to Vietnam. The middle of the country and the South.

In Summer 2005, I spent three weeks in Vietnam. I traveled from North to South, on the roads most of the time but enjoying it to no end. It is such a different country, I've never known anything like it. I met many interesting people and saw some incredible landscapes, and took pictures of course!

I do apologize for the poor quality of some shots... I didn't have the knownledge or the cameras I have now. Photoshop couldn't save them all, alas. I will split this in two posts (image heavy).
