| About: | What Gets Posted In This Community? One opportunity a day to make the world a little bit better. Topics include charity profiles, volunteer opportunities, environmentalism, etc. Who Can Post? Anyone, but submissions are moderated and only one entry per day will be approved/posted. If you want to contribute, make sure that your post includes a subject line, details on the tip, approximate cost (if there is one) and a link for more information/or where you got your information. Posts that ask for money or sponsorships- even for charitable causes- will not be approved (ie, "I'm doing this walk, please sponsor me!". Please note, if you submit a post and there has already been a post that day, it likely won't get approved. Instead, I keep a running list of ideas and who they came from to post at a later date. Where are these opportunities? Locations vary from very local to global. When are posts made? Once each day, so if you want to post an opportunity, make sure to submit it a few days in advance so we can make every effort to get it posted before it passes. Why are you doing this? Why wouldn't we want to make the world a better place? We believe people want to do good, they just don't always know where to start. We're providing the spark. | |
