footballslash11. footballslash11 is another prompt-based challenge inspired by fanfic100, but is specifically aimed at the football slash fandom. And since a 100-prompt challenge is a bit much, it was decided to go by an 11-prompt one, “since it’s 11 men on the pitch per team. Hm. Any and all genres and ratings are accepted here, but all claims must be footballers (or managers/physios/members of the technical staff, if you must *g*) or teams. AUs and crossovers are accepted, but don't overdo it. We do, after all, want footballslash.
Joining and finishing this challenge is done in five easy steps:
1) Join the community;
2) Decide which pairing/person/team you want to write and check here or here if someone hasn’t claimed your choice already;
3) Leave a comment to this post to stake your claim;
4) Post the prompt-table in your (writing) journal and post the link as a comment to this post;
5) Write your fics and post them to the comm. with prompt, claim, and rating in the subject and the header and tags as below – put all your fics, even drabbles, behind a cut:
A quick word on tags: when you post your first fic, you will not be able to add your author or claim tag – a mod will have to do it for you – but you can add the prompt and rating tags. Please do. The warnings tag is mandatory if applicable and your fic will be deleted when you don't use it. If you need a tag that doesn't exist yet, request it here and wait to post your fic till a mod has got back to you about it.
The minimum word count is 100 words per fic; there is no limit. You can post the fics in any order you want, so 11. Losses can come before 01. Tactics, but after 06. Appearances and 03. Halves. Or not. There is no time limit to complete the challenge, but as someone else might want to try their hand at your pairing, don’t postpone it all indefinitely. Ask your questions here.
