Just one thing....
OSU beat down the Wolverines today. OSU fans happy, Michigan fans cry about the bowl games OSU won't be going to. Now, I'm not a big OSU fan, but now I see why OSU fan hates Michigan fan. Michigan win, OSU sucks, Michigan loose, OSU suck still because Michigan is going to a big game. I'm sorry Michigan fan, that's being a damn sore loser.
If Michigan is so good, and OSU is so bad, how did sorry ass OSU beat down the great Michigan?
Michigan fan, It doesn't matter what bowl game your going to in however many weeks. If Michigan can't bring thier game against sorry ass OSU, then Michigan fan should have nothing to say about today other than "OSU fan, you had the better team today".
Today, Michigan fan, you can't talk. OSU spanked you. OSU may sucks, but today, Michigan swallowed.

Look at the records. Michigan is still going to the rose bowl. And Until you catch up in the overall series. Michigan is (57-38-6) against Ohio St.

Average score: Michigan 16.7 - Ohio St 12.1

We've gone to the rose bowl 18 times to your 12. I think its obvious who is the better university and college program. Especially since your program is going to get a nice hammer dropped on them. You beat us this year.

To me this is like Baylor talking shit to Texas A&M.

I think Joe Pa's pretty spent as well, but really, my favorite matchup is Michigan/Michigan State.

That one always meant more than Ohio State.

I'm not a big OSU, or hell, even college fan. That just seems to be all I hear about whenever theres an OSU/Michigan game. I just kept seeing OSU fan posts on here about them being happy OSU won, and then you get Michigan fan with nothing else really to say other than "So what if you beat us today, were still better".
To me that's crap, give them thier day. We all know OSU is going down fast. Let'em have a day and move on.

As a Pac-10 guy, I pretty much hate both teams as much as one can hate a football team. There is one day though that I cheer for OSU. It's after midnight so I can now stop :p

Looked to me like the negativity was towards OSU fan. I agree, OSU needs to emulate Michigan, and yesterday they did. But then you see Michigan fan saying "you suck, were going to the bowl".
Hell yeah they are going to the bowl, they were the better team all year long. All year long except yesterday.
It just bugs me that coaches tell players who actually get beat "Let them have thier due, they brought the better team, now move on". I think Michigan fan needs to hear that.

Michigan got beat, pointing out how bad OSU is just makes me think if OSU is that bad, then how bad is Michigan really? Michigan may be the better team, but they weren't the better team that day. When the 60 minutes was done, Michigan didn't walk away with the "W".
Maybe I'm a little to old school, but that's all I thought that mattered.

Its called an upset. It happens. Any team can beat any team on a single day but over the course of a season its obvious to see which team is better. Or in this case its obvious to see which program has been more successful

OSU brought the better team. OSU came away with the "W". Michigan was the worse team that day. End of story, thank you for helping me prove my point.

They all got upset and it proves that the better team does not always win. That is my point. Just because a team loses a game and gets upset, the program that did the upset isn't automatically a better program or a team.

Let's see, in none of those examples did you use any of those teams' biggest rival. A&M's biggest rival is the Longhorns, Miami's and Florida's is FSU and Notre Dame's is USC. Are you denying that Ohio State is Michigan's biggest rival?

Besides, I'd think Michigan fans would just be glad they didn't have to play the Badgers this year...

Just because you beat someone doesnt mean your team is better or your football program is better. Purdue beat Notre Dame. Notre Dame and Purdue are big rivals. Can purdue make fun of Notre Dame's football program ever? Ummmm NO. Same thing with michigan and ohio st.

And wisconsin pulled a choke job the final part of the season and even thou michigan lost this past weekend anybody will say michigan finished better than wisconsin who lost its final 2 games in a row and got dominated in the process. The badgers self distructed and nobody is scared of them. After they got the cupcakes out of the way on their schedule like Central Florida, Unlv, Arizona. And played some real teams they started to fold. They were lucky against purdue. This stat says it all...

Michigans opponent record is 64-56 Wisconsin was 51-68

If you seriously think the gap between Baylor and A&M is comparable to the mouse hole of a "gap" between Michigan and OSU, then you really are dilusional.

And you know as well as I do that if Michigan had faced anything resemling a real defense, like what the Badgers have, they wouldn't be going to the rose bowl. It's DEFENSE that wins Championships, not offense.

But thank you Michigan fans. Your arrogance and inability to have some damn humility has caused me to do something I've never done in my life... pull for the Pac 10 team in the Rose Bowl... GO CAL!!!

Wisconsin's defense was so good because they played highschool teams practically. Then when they played real teams they got there ass handed to them. Wisconsin's DEF looked GREAT against michigan st giving up 49 points. Real Defense in Wisconsin. Keep on scheduling Winless Central Florida and tell your a powerhouse

Like Wisconsin knows anything about winning. LOL They've won sooooo many big 10 titles and national championships and all. I think michigan should envy you guys. LOL.

Aight, so Wisconsin got it handed to them by MSU. And even after giving up 49 points, they still gave up 80 points less than Michigan overall. Say what you want about Wisconsin's defense, but at least we have one.

Oh yea, and how many Big 10's and Rose Bowls has Wisconsin won in the past 11 years? What about Michigan?

You can have your bragging rights to 70 year old championships. Anyone would take Wisconsin's recent history over Michigan's and wouldn't have to think twice.

My distorted facts are espn facts which i gave you the link to look up yourself. Your Defense played some of the Worst offenses in the league. Even the very last ranked and 2nd to last ranked offense. Brag all you want about your defense. It was a fraud and got exposed

Michigan gave up 14 pts to Purdue held orten to 213 yards passing 1 td and 1 int and held them to 263 yards total offense... Wisconsin gave up 17 pts to Purdue held orten to 235 yards 1 td and 1 int and let up 367 yards

Both teams shut him down, and Michigan did a better job of it and shut down there team alot better than Wisconsin did..

And what I don’t understand is how us being happy that we’re still Big Ten Champions and going to the Rose Bowl despite losing makes us “sore losers”. We’re HAPPY losers!
Sore losers are fans outside of a stadium who throw full cans of beer at people. Sore losers are fans who walk up and curse in people’s faces who are wearing the opposing team’s colors. That’s what goes on at Ohio State, that’s what they do.

Not really - Michigan Fan conveniently forgets that it's only because Iowa beat Wisconsin that Michigan still gets to go to the Rose Bowl. Michigan choked on their chance to take care of business themselves, and they needed help from another team to get in.

"We're Michigan! We're so good! We rule! Oh, thank you Iowa."

OOPS.

Hell, Iowa's the hotter team right now anyway. They've won seven in a row and they plastered two Top 25 teams. Michigan did them, but their losses came to two unranked teams. Michigan just barely got past the other Top 25 teams they beat (Purdue and Minnesota at the time, both proven to be overrated by now). Iowa's only other loss was to a strong Arizona State team, whose only losses were to USC and Cal.

You beat Iowa, but aside from that Michigan and Iowa had the exact same records both in-conferance and overall (Wisconsin is also 9-2), and it took Iowa beating Wisconsin for Michigan to get to the Rose Bowl.

Michigan outscored Iowa and Wisconsin, but they also gave up 55 more points than Iowa and 80 more than Wisconsin. Nice defense.
