I kind of asked this a while ago, but now I have every tiny bit of detailed information that I lacked before.

I am looking to make some pornworthy cupcakes for a friend. However he has several food allergies: wheat, dairy, sugar and some fruit (like apples so no applesauce!) He has, in the past, been subjected to horrendous approximations of cupcakes and evil, vile tasting concoctions that barely pass as food. I wish to provide him with something delicious, but have no idea how to go about this due to the limitations.

This is what is OK:

flours: anything except wheat, spelt and kamut
sweeteners: honey, maple, agave nectar
milk substitues: rice milk, almond milk, hazelnut milk, oat milk ect.

eggs are also okay.

Is this something that I can accomplish or is the poor lad doomed to a cupcakeless life?

I require your porny expertise!
So today I did my big food shop for the week, and impulse bought a pack of four lamb cutlets because they were half price and looked tasty.  However, I've no idea what to do with them.  I've had some delicious vaguely spicy slow-roasted lamb dishes before, so I was thinking something along those lines, but I've really no idea.  I've checked the entries tagged as "lamb" but most seem to be for cooking large joints of it.

I've also never cooked lamb before, so I'm not sure if there are any special considerations for how to do so well.

So, does anyone have a good recipe for them?  It needs to be gluten-free, or at least alterable to make it suitable for coeliacs.  I'd also like something that's cheap to make, since I'm a student on a very low income.

I was also given a massive box of home-grown strawberries today, and I'm trying to think of a more creative use for them than "eat them on their own" or "eat them with cream".  Ideas?

Cheers :3.

allergy-avoidance recipes request

one of my oldest and dearest friends is expecting her first baby late this summer and i wanted to prepare a few freezer meals for her family. however, i'm a bit stumped because her husband's allergies knock most of my tried and trues off the list. he cannot have dairy (but CAN have eggs), meat, peanuts or refined sugars (though raw and most organics are fine). the jury is out on fish and shellfish as he hasn't had the opportunity for a recent allergy test. he does like soy and most soy products (cheese, meats, etc.) and she has come to enjoy them as well.
basically, i'm looking for meals that can be prepared, frozen then tossed in an oven later on for an easy meal for tired new parents that avoid his allergies. i'm not adverse to a bit of experimentation when it comes to some of the lesser known/used soy replacements, but i will admit some confuddlement since we are a very meaty and dairy family. ;)
any ideas or links or whatever are very much appreciated!
