Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Oddly enough, I'm one of those gals who bakes when she's sorely in need of a study break...
As such, I baked several batches of oatmeal raisin cookies last night using this recipe.

Stacks of Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

I had to be careful not to eat all the dough... salmonella be darned! ;)

Those look so GOOD. However, I wonder what the vanilla pudding is for? Just flavor? Or does it do something to the texture?

First time with the recipe, so I'm guessing it's in lieu of vanilla flavoring. We'll also see if they remain soft and chewy later on today. ;)

They look tasty! I never worry about eating raw dough or batter. Maybe I should, I don't know. I'm 28 and I haven't gotten sick yet...

I'm past the time in my life where I need study breaks, but I still bake when I need to relax, so you're not alone. :)

Hee... I'm 28 myself, but went back to graduate school part-time after five years out of undergrad (though in my field, the MLS is needed to get out of the support staff/paraprofessional ranks).

But oh, does baking hit the spot when I need to de-stress! ;)
