Garlic & Rosemary Pizza Dough

I have been doubtful for years when it comes to attempting making my own pizza crust, i just didn't think I could do it.  I mean come on.... I seriously think it is a skill that you need years of practice before you can get it right.

Ok i am wrong... the part that requires skill is making the pizza round... .  To make a tasty and crisp pizza....all that is needed is a good pizza dough recipe.  And I have found it!  On my first try!  From my favourite cooking magazine, Fine Cooking by Tauntons.

Click here for the recipe and very detailed pictures

Thank you. I have been looking for a good recipe for pizza dough, and hadn't found one. This one looks and sounds like it would work. Buying pizza simply doesn't work since I am dealing with two heart patients, 3 with high blood pressure, and two diabetics. All of us love good pizza, and this way *I* can control what goes in the dough and the toppings.

quick question for you, as you've inspired me to try this this upcoming weekend - how many of your minipizzas did you get out of this one batch?

Just trying to figure out how I might have to divide the recipe for how much I need.

Thanks in advance!

(err. and how big approx. were the pizzas - just in case the number shown on the tray is how many there were at the end, and I'm just too braindead after work to get that. lol)

Glad to have inspired :)

I made three times the recipe...that gave me 22 pizzas...each one at least 8 inches
