If you're interested in finding more they look like the work of Joost Elffers. He's done a range of books with this kind of thing.

Someone posted some of his pics in here a little while back but it's always nice to see them again.

Your friend was cribbing. These are the work of Joost Elffers in his several photobooks, PLAY WITH YOUR FOOD and others.

Still cute though. I love the use of black eyed peas as eyeballs.

I bought one of those books for my baby niece, the Baby Food one. It's quite cute.

I each K and I use his books ALL the time. My kids love them and it's a great way to talk about fruits and veges that many kids don't know of.
