Thai Burgers
Made these yesterday evening after the idea struck me at work. I used ground turkey, but I suppose you could use ground beef, too.
What you'll need:
For Burgers
1 lb. lean ground turkey
1 large shallot, diced
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1 cup plain bread crumbs
1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 cup House of Tsang Peanut Sauce
Also
Cooking spray
1 pack whole wheat hamburger rolls, toasted
Red onion, sliced
Lettuce (I suggest red leaf or romaine)
Tomato, sliced
More House of Tsang Peanut Sauce
In a large mixing bowl combine ground turkey, shallot, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and peanut sauce. Add breadcrumbs and mix thoroughly.
Coat medium skillet, heat on stove over medium. Grill burgers two at a time until done.
Place on hamburger rolls, add condiments, and coating bottom of tops with peanut sauce. Serve with kettle-fried chips or cuccumber salad.
