Look at that gargantuan lettuce! Also in picture: hothouse tomatoes, cilantro-obscured heirloom tomatoes, avocados, Yukon Gold potatoes, California peaches, and broccoli.

(Just out of curiosity: what is the correct punctuation for "farmers' market"? I would assume the apostrophe goes after the s - as in, the market of the farmers - but I could be wrong...).

Unless there is only one farmer at the market, you were correct to place the apostrophe after the whole bunch of 'em.

Looks like some mighty fine grub there! Mmmmmm!

Farmers' market, as there are many farmers there....

Exactly what I was thinking: it must be either "farmers' market" or "farmers market," but the latter would be a little dodgy! ;-)

the "s" apostrophe implies that the market belongs to more than one farmer.
"farmer's" implies that it belongs to one farmer.

sorry. english major. I'll shut up now.

I'm an English major, too (grad student, in fact) but I could have sworn I'd seen "Farmers Market" in the past. Eh, people are lazy with punctuation these days...
