Wow guys. I only got one entry for challenge 2. :/ I won't make an extension because people can still submit until the hiatus but if the participation is going to be lacking this badly, we can't continue the lims.

Okay, first off, I need to announce something.

The community will be put on hiatus from Thursday, December 20 until Monday, January 1.

- Amazing colors!

- The icon is too gray, which doesn't match the bright colours of the sandwich.
- The icon seems overly dark and the lights are very faded to where it looks white dust instead of lights.
- The texture used makes the image look dull and faded.

- Nice simple cropping and coloring.

- Unappetizing colours, bad texture.
- The contrast seems very high and colors are very dark.Also the white on top with the text is creative but doesnt seem to match the dark image very well.

With the extension, I got a few more icons. =D xtess, the_justiner, exosomatic, eternitycrash, totally_fierce, ,plaid_giraffe and kissed_the_curb have all used skips.

Vote for TWO lesser quality icons and ONE favorite icon.
- Reasons are required for voting off lesser quality icons.
- A reason is not required for voting for your favorite icon, however it is welcomed.

"Good" Reasons for voting off lesser quality icons:

- The image is over sharpened.
- The subject is crowded by the effects.
- The text is unfitting.
- The brush is distracting.

"Bad" Reasons for voting off lesser quality icons:

- I don't like tiny text.

Voting for round 1 won't go up for another couple of hours but I'm going to change the schedule around a little bit so people will have more time to enter icons. Also, here is the bye post.

- You may not show your icon anywhere else until voting is over
- You may not blend the images
- You may use all effects except animation
- If you submit an icon, and decide you wish to submit a new one, delete the old comment
- It must be under 40kb, and no larger than 100 pixels by 100 pixels
- When submitting, include the image and the URL.
- Byes are allowed for the second challenge
- The icons are due MONDAY, DECEMBER 17, 9:00 PM EST
- If there are any questions, feel free to ask.

{also, it'd be nice if you didn't delete your icon until you got eliminated. For the winner of the LIMS and the runner up, I want to make a collaboration of all their icons.

If within 24 hours of a deadline of a round, do you guys want a comment left in your personal journal? I'm not going to do it if people don't want me to. I know in my other LIMS a participant gave me their e-mail, so I e-mailed them instead. Is there anyone in this community who doesn't want a reminder left somewhere in their personal journal?
