I often ask myself: why I like to do this and don't like to do that? Why I like to do icons, make-up, haircuts and photos and don't like to be a boss? And now I understand - I like to make people happy.
When I do my icons I want to show some emotions what I feel in that moment.
And I want to show that in my pic. I know they are not good yet, but I'll study... and maybe sometimes I'll can do what I want and maybe be like rustal or karras they are so talanted! (ha-ha, it's my arrogance :D)

Uggh. Just finished my 45 minutes on the treadmill. So sad. Those last 20 minutes sucked. Seriously. And I almost thought I wasn't going to make my last 3 minutes of jogging insanity (I do intervals the rest of the run. 1 minute at 4mph and 1 minute at 5mph. I alternate that until the end where I do 3 minutes of straight jogging and then 5 minutes of warm down).

Now I just have to do that tomorrow and the next day. Bleh. Basically I'll be doing that for the next few months. But I will get to a healthy weight. I want to be in my healthy BMI by my 25th birthday. Here's to hoping.

This is Kelly; I promised Geena I would post.

Today, when we were out to do errands, Geena started feeling worse. I thought she needed to eat and take her pain pills, so we stopped and picked up food. She started feeling nauseated, but all she'd had to eat all day was a single slice of bread with peanut butter and jam, so she made herself eat.

Her pain level started spiking. It had been a seven, and it climbed to eight and kept going. I told her I was taking her to our doctor, but when we got there, it turned out he closes at noon on Fridays. So I told her we were going to the ER that we went to on Wednesday.

On the way there, she passed out. One minute, she was crying, whimpering, tensing; the next, her head dropped forward, mouth wide open, not a sound, and she completely went limp against her seatbelt. She came back somewhat quickly; I was driving, and so had to call her a few times, but then she jolted and didn't believe me that she'd passed out.

At the ER, two men helped her as soon as I dropped her off to go park the car, and they got her into a wheelchair. We were hurried into triage because she was crying so hard and hyperventilating. Her pulse was 118 at that point, and her blood pressure was also higher than usual. The nurse tried to calm her down; he crouched and talked to her for five minutes. I wound up answering most of his questions, because she was still in too much pain to answer. While I was doing so, she passed out again--stopped crying and slumped over into my side.

Fast-forward through the next hour or so while we waited for a bed to open up, and she kept fading in and out of consciousness. I had to pick up Starr since we've just the one car, and a very sweet old lady had me push Geena's wheelchair over so she could keep an eye on her. Geena later told me that the woman just kept calming her down, asking her questions to ground her, touching her gently, telling her not to lean forward--basically, the sweetest lady ever.

By the time Starr and I got back, Geena was in a room back in the ER. We were given passes and headed back to her empty room, where we hung out and tried to figure out how to get her back faster. (You know, the whole thing where the phone rings as soon as you're going out the door, that sort of thing? We tried using the restroom, leaving to get drinks, and discussed getting topless to summon her back with the power of boobs.) Eventually, she returned while I was eating. They'd taken her for another CT.

She'd been given Ativan and Tometal (I think that was the painkiller). Her pain was down to about an 8, which is better than topping out. I asked the nurse about more pain medication and water; Geena got ice chips and more of the Tometal. Eventually, her doctor came in and told her that her CT was clean, as was the one from Wednesday. They have no idea why she's in so much pain. I talked to the doctor about her pain medication tolerance, and so Geena got a prescription for Ultram/tramadol. The doctor was highly apologetic about not having an answer for Geena's serious pain, but sent us home nonetheless with a final diagnosis of "abdominal pain". Thanks, guys!

Geena is now asleep; I gave her the tramadol, and she should be pretty unconscious for a very long time. She'll post herself tomorrow, sometime after she wakes up.

tl;dr I took Geena back to the ER for severe pain that reached a 10 on the pain scale; she's home with a diagnosis of "abdominal pain" and prescription for Ultram/tramadol, and is now asleep.

Couldn't sleep, due to pain. Finally stopped laying in bed and staring at the wall, so I sat up and got on my laptop sometime after six. Still hurts. Ugh.

You know, I'm surprised there's not a snark community for bad_rpers_suck. I have the faint urge to start one-- mostly because I want to mod something. I just doubt there's any interest and I don't think anyone would care at all.

I've developed a new phobia of cars, of Kelly driving without me around, and of riding in a car. THIS WILL WORK GREAT.

Randomly, this post has actually put me on the edge of tears.

I am really, really high due to meds and such. Sorry.

My mother has probably lost her job, and if she hasn't yet, she will be within the month. She's already a half-step about poverty (and I am not exaggerating). Greg is on disability, and my mother has no real skills. Not to mention the fact that no one around her is hiring.

Speaking of jobs, I have to quit mine due to the lack of car. I don't know what to do. *panic*

Also! You know how I tend to ask a lot of participation questions? Things like "What is your home like?" and "What is the favorite thing in your life?" etc? Should I make a filter for that? If I do, do you want it.

Made it up Little Mountain again today. Go me! Now I just need to do my 45 minute jog tomorrow through Sunday. I can rest on Monday. Work out again the next days. I can do 6 days a week, I know it! And then I'll be skinny and hot for when I see Gareth David-Lloyd in February ^__^. My birthday is going to be so awesome. Maybe he'll sign something special for me for my birthday! Wouldn't that be nifty?

Pain is making me so irritable. Also, I really am sorry if my constant posting is bothering you, I'm trying to tone it down. I mean that, I'm sorry.

Seriously! That is only two days after my birthday. I want! I want I want I want I want I want!!!!!

Trying to sleep. Not really working. My spleen's okay but there's still a lot of massive OW. Anyway, not the point of the post.

I just got back in touch with one of my first ever LJ friends. HOLY SHIT, I AM SO EXCITED AND HAPPY. It's Amy, for those of you who know her, and it's been like, three years. And it's awesome.

YAY.

Holy shit. Today was scary.

Some of you have Kelly (subluxate) on your flists, so you know. But today I woke up with severe pain in my spleen area. Kelly says I was pale, and I felt like shit. After a lot of discussion, I went to see Dr. W, our beloved physician. He was stunned by the accident and the fact that my ER never gave me a scan or even drew blood, but agreed that things seemed serious and sent me off with orders for a CT scan from a nearby imaging center.

Except her forgot to sign the orders. Since I was worried that I might have a lacerated spleen, it was kind of urgent, and the center shipped me off to the local ER (WHICH IS TEN TIMES BETTER THAN ANY MACON ER, IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY). It only took about... six hours, all told, from start to finish. I drank a lot of contrast at the center, nearly threw up, almost cried from pain, felt more pain, got a room in the ER, had lots more pain, Kelly went to get Starr and take her home, had more pain, and then they finally gave me a scan. That ER doctor scolded me for not coming in sooner and I waited around. I was seriously thinking my spleen was exploding and I might need surgery.

Luckily, it's just a bad bruise, and there's a lot of pain. In fact, my entire body is a bruise and I am about six different colors (we took some pictures). But I get to keep my spleen. I just have to check in with Dr. W later this week.

Plus side, I have Percocet and I finally get to eat some time today. And I don't have to worry insanely about surgery anymore. Hell, at this point, the pain is fine.

I have the best girlfriend ever, by the way. Kelly has been taking amazing care of me-- drawing baths, fetching food, giving me backrubs, brushing my hair because I'm too hurty to do it myself, helping me get dressed, driving all over the earth, and just being there while I gasp in pain. I mean it. She is amazing, I love her, and I am so lucky.

In the meantime, I named all my hatchlings:

А вы заметили, что с приходом в Найтвиш Анет они стали настоящей ГРУППОЙ, а не придатками Тарьи. Хоть я ее люблю, но все же, мне кажется, она их подавляла. Марко стал чаще петь, а раньше он все больше подпевал Тарье каким-то жутким басох, хотя у него очень приятный голос. И даже на фотках они выглядят более веселыми, чем раньше. А то как не посмотришь, все зомби стоят на заднем плане и Тарья перед ними. Хотя в концертных записях это не так заметно.
