Until further notice, all of my network/shrine projects are dead in the water. Not on hiatus, but the next closest thing to done and gone. Like...think of them as a brain-dead patient on life support.

The fact is, my interests have moved on; I count myself amongst the domain owners who no longer have the time, commitment, or drive to continue pumping out shrines. I tried working on one for Yuri (Tales of Vesperia), but I never finished the content, and I never regained the interest necessary to make a second playthrough, take notes, and write.

As some of you are also aware, I had to deal with something very personal and very difficult at the beginning of the summer. An emotional bomb of this strength was enough to effectively destroy my creativity for a number of things, including art, layout-making, this domain, and others. I'm sure it'll come back (at least for the first item in that list), but I'm not going to force it.

I'd like to extend a special apology to escorts, since I adopted her lovely Judith shrine and never went anywhere with it...unfortunately, bad timing was a huge factor here, between end-of-semester work and the aforementioned personal situation.

My sites will still be available, as I do not plan on discontinuing my hosting service -- I'm going to be working on a personal site/portfolio down the line. vikmyster, Heir of Slytherin has nothing to worry about. :) However, they won't be updated, and there is a chance that they may not be updated ever again. We'll see what happens.

Yeah, I'm still alive. No, I don't really have anything new, except this:


This lovely shrine was adopted from escorts, and due to a mix of school and deeply involving personal issues, has not been worked on (like the rest of my domain) at all. I apologize to Lore for this. ;~; However, it is now online for you to enjoy in the meantime.

The Samurai Champloo fanlisting will also be adopted out shortly. The unofficial Gaara and Naruto fanlisting at jinchuuriki.org has been closed.

The hiatus (from LJ and my domain) will continue until I sort out these things in my personal life. I'll try to get the SC fanlisting adopted out soon, though.

I'm eager to sever as many ties I have from the fanlisting world as possible at this point -- I'm going to close my unapproved Gaara and Naruto FL and adopt this one (Samurai Champloo) out. I'm going to keep Halo, Master Chief and Vincent/Lucrecia because I still love those subjects, though. (lmao no I still love Champloo, I'm just not as attached to it as I'm sure other people are)

Currently feeling the end-of-semester crunch (more major assignments than you can shake a stick at), and I have little inspiration for webdesign or writing at the moment. Some things I plan to work on over the summer:

• Bloomveil - I adopted Lore's lovely Judith (ToV) shrine, and will upload it when I have a layout ready.
• Domain revamp - This layout is already designed and coded, I just need to get around to filling in the content.
• Outlaw Torn - I still haven't finished my second ToV playthrough, so I hope to finish this up relatively soon.

I swear this is the only site I bother maintaining nowadays.

• Corrected a minor typo.
• Added some information from Lost Episode to the Memories page.
• Created a credits page linking to the scripts I referenced

I added some fun little tooltips to the affiliates page, which feature my favorite shrines/fansites from each webmaster (if applicable). :) I created some buttons for sites where I couldn't find an 88x31 image, so feel free to nab those if you like~

It's pretty simple -- nothing too fancy, especially since I whipped it up in around a day. 8'| But at least there's something there. I also managed to fully rid my domain of tables. (diaf)


The Vincent site also has a new layout for Valentine's Day. It probably would have made more sense to revamp Even in Distance for that occasion, but I'm never changing that layout.

I also ended up pruning the content; aside from the usual grammar/diction revisions, I removed a couple of "clutter" pages.

Hey guys, this is the new update journal for Auldrant. :'D I decided to move here because I'm a dork and fonists ties in with the domain name.

Speaking of which, I'm looking into buying a cheap PS2, so hopefully I can get back on track with my Natalia site in the near future...

Anyway, I actually have some stuff planned soon (including the Yuri site you're probably aware of by now), so this thing will see some use. I'm trying to get back on track with my poor domain, which hasn't seen much love over the past year.
