Other Electricities label - Ground[works]2007–2008 CD sampler

Неделю назад Other-ElectricitiesPortland US(кстати имеющий на это дело грант из бюджета штата) запустил семплер и полон планов на будущее.
Среди других обращает на себя внимание проект MimiCof от известной нам Midori Hirano

In early 2007, Midori Hirano started the new project as MimiCof to shift focus more toward the electronic components which previously played only a supporting role in her songs.
The piece "Seeds from the Sun" is a prime example of the shift. Here, bells and keys set atop robust percussion set a solid foundation for the swarming vocals and digital glitch that emerge in the foreground. Other MimiCof compositions follow suit, providing an outlet for the inevitable fusion of Hirano's tastes and abilities.

MimiCof's first full-length album is due out on Other Electricities in early 2008.
